You can hear Wiley in the background when Frisco is spitting saying "bad um up bad um up bad um up once. I just thought if that." Then proceeds to spit it later in the freestyle 🔥
I just clocked that this is one of the hardest grime freestyles sessions ever recorded. Used to bump these man on my Walkman in secondary. So privileged I to got witness this movement cos it changed music across the globe
Classic bars, timeless. Peeps in the Window in the background had no idea they were watching grime / hip hop legends. What did it for me was the kids faces reaction to ghetts, pure energy and talent clear!
@@MiloxNicholls Yeah, that Scorch/Wretch situation got way too messy, other than that it would happen, since 08 Wiley & Skepta always had little fallouts then got kool again
Wileys a grime genius even back then 8 min 58 secs everyone behind not completely appreciating but Wiley knew Ghetts had levels. Pioneer of the game, Kanye West of Grime !
I remember maybe 10 years ago or more when Wiley was considered the Jay-Z of UK "urban music" he was having a conversation with Ghetts and basically trying to get Ghetts approval of his album, Ghetts was saying Wiley is a genius but the fans didn't even clock he was repeating 4 bars then giving them a hook and doing it again throughout the album (which worked years later and when he made heatwave) but I was younger and confused why he was going so hard to get Ghetts approval because I felt like it should've been the other way around, over the last 8yrs or so I began to understand Wiley knew Ghetts was really that guy in terms of talent & skillset and always respected him highly while everyone overlooked him.
