I love how authentic the series is. The characters aren’t full of make up, there are realistic cuss words lol, ….

The gum chewing thing is so interesting because I knew it was a coping mechanism for anxiety- I use it too, it especially helps with biting nails/skin around nails, which we know Willem does. But on rewatch I noticed how OFTEN he is doing it. As early as the party in ep 1 and it continues throughout. It’s not only a cool little nod to his character’s struggles, but like…you never see people chew gum in tv and movies ever. It’s kinda wild.

This is officially the best show netflix ever made, its relatable with mental ilnesses (anxiety etc) it shows love isnt that easy and sometimes really takes effort, the skin of the actors is not plastic but realistic to irl. Overall 100/10

This made me realize how it was Wilhelm who wanted this from the first second he saw Simon. Interesting as he isn't "like that" lol. That boy has been "like that" since the first moment he saw Simon. I know Simon likes him back but Wilhelm is the guy who fell first, and by the looks of it, the heardest as he was also the only one to say "I love you".

Just imagine how it must have felt for simon to hear that the prince everyone is obsessing over has your song in his head and obviously has not stopped thinking about you singing 🤭❤ too cute

He fell for that beauty first, and after that he liked Simon's character (being confident, lovable, freely saying his thoughts, etc)

Just to clarify to you 8:20 you ask why it looks like wilhelm is always chewing something. He is. He's chewing the inside of his cheek. It's a common thing to happen with people with anxiety that try to stop chewing their nails or an object, so they do it to the inside of their cheek. I hope this helps ❤❤❤❤
