I'd been using a synthetic brush for the last few months and recently brought out my badger and boar brushes. Imo they definitely make a wetter lather as the natural hairs retain water and synthetic bristles do not. Shave brushes add yet another spectrum to this chore-turned-hobby. I would like to see an all-in-one shave brush offered with badger, boar, horse and synthetic. The best of them all.
Couldn't enjoy a warm shave with scuttle and brush this morning because I was running late for doctor appt. Had to settle for 5min shave with Barbasol Original Shaving Cream in the palm of my hand. That's what I like about Safety Razors!
Hey Paul great Mid week shave 🪒. My shave today was a Merkur 34C with a Wilkinson sword blade. Proraso Blue Aloe shave cream in a tube. DS Cosmetics 24mm Smoke brush with a red handle. Clubman Pinaud Citrus Musk aftershave splash and The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe Post-Shave Water-Gel For Men. It was a mix match shave for me too.😁 The flowers are stunning please let Mrs H know that. Take care

A Wednesday shave and beautiful flowers! I've read that the "petrol" cost is almost 7 USD/gal in the UK. That's about double what I pay. So, I imagine those electric vehicles will reduce Royal Mail costs in the long run. My daily shave was a simple one. Face lathered with Nivea shaving cream and used my Rockwell 6S with an Astra Green (3rd and final use). Post-shave was alum, witch hazel, and Duke Cannon balm. Safe travels on your whirring rural delivery.
In Flanders Belgium we have also a sunny morning. So I go for Fitjar - Folgefonn soap that goes well with my Plisson. Off course my Rockwell 6C (3) with a Voskhod blade (3). Finish with Nivea Balm and Fresh Kick. En dan was er koffie (Dutch for "and now coffee".

I really wanted to love the new Wilkinson Sword T.T.O., but I can't seem to get a comfortable shave with it no matter what blade or shaving soap I use. Perhaps it is a bit more aggressive than I think it is. Those PolSilver blades are hard to come by since 2016. I did manage to collect some on my recent visit to Pasteur's Pharmacy in New York City. Yes, very pleased with that. I do enjoy watching you get a good shave out of that razor. I am absolutely envious. Please take care Paul.
Nicely done Paul💈💈 Sometimes a shave using non-related products can give great results. I like trying different things to achieve a good ending. Beautiful flowers this morning from Mrs H, thanks to her for that. TOBS "Sandalwood" all the way for me today, Wolf Whiskers custom badger brush, REX "Konsul" SS slant adj. razor with Feather blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to end...glorious. That took me back my dad used Erasmic or Parmolive. I bought an Erasmic a while ago to try just because I remember my dad using it cannot say I a big fan of the scent but certainly a fan of Parmolive. I did what you did and grated 2 sticks into a container must say it worked well. Kind regards to you both and keep well and keep safe.

Great shave Paul, to me Erasmic has a citrus base and comes over similar to Lychees for the price it is a good soap, oh when these bloody electric cars pass sounds like an alien invasion 🤣 catches you off guard take care and enjoy the rest of your week 😀👍
Hi Paul, I enjoy your videos here in Australia. My shave of the day was with my new Merkur progress using a Derby extra blade, soap and after shave by Proraso (Menthol and Eucalyptus) 3-2-1 very smooth and easy.... as for the brush it is Zenith from Italy (can't find details, think it is badger ??)
Have to disagree with you on the sent of the shaving soap as always it is subjective at best, but to me, it's an old classic sent I remember the sent from the barbershop sadly no longer operating due to retirement no one else followed in his footsteps or no one wanted to learn how to. Thats over ten years ago. The town today is full of Barbershops doing shaves all immigrants from Turkey opened shops getting trendy for now?
