JUST GOT THE NEWS RIP WILKO.... you'll be greatly missed Bro.. my guitar hero. Sympathy to the family.. I'm gutted. On one of my European journeys on a motor bike. Living the dream. Back in the 80s I had feelgood on a Walkman Seen them live.. Bye Bye Wilko B Goode XX
When the over exuberant fan jumps on stage, Wilco doesn't miss a note. He simply keeps his hands away from the fan. The 'bouncer' gently puts the fan back exactly where he came from, in the front row, with a reminder to behave. And the fan does. Only in Japan. Gotta love it.
Most underrated guitar wizard from the UK, IMHO. Why he isn't in Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 100 is a mystery to me. And his showmanship is second to none !
Wilko is still the best in this video! I would have given my left big toe to have played bass to his guitar even for only a night! Wilko has left us a legacy that few can achieve, and fewer yet can surpass! I hope he will be with us for a long time, even as he has decided not to take treatment for his cancer. Wilko, man, you ARE the MAN!!!
