First album I’ve ever bought was GRODT …went to the best buy and spent 17.99 of my own money I saved up. Played the album on my Panasonic CD player every day of my life. 50 was the GOAT period. I felt all the trappings he felt in his hood he spoke on all the mixtapes before the album so I felt like I grew with him. People will never understand why this man inspired so many until they know how it felt to come from nothing and make over all those struggles. You gotta love it.

A great theme song should capture the theme of the show about to play behind the record and he did that shit 3 times. Nobody in rap capable of doing that better than 50. Don’t let his lack of chart presence in the last decade fool you, he know exactly how to make a hit record that ability never left he just switched up the medium he tells his stories in.
