It was fun revisiting this old concept! If you guys haven't checked out @SlowMoFarm yet, please do! I'm super close to 1k subscribers there and then can start customizing and uploading on the regular. RU-vid isn't the ideal place to upload to but it's the platform I'm stuck with for now. Let me know what you all might want to see. I'll probably start uploading some fishing stuff this week along with this videos stuff.
Each ring of a targer is only the width of the bullet for extreme accuracy and if your mark isnt over like 2/3 of an area, you get the lower point, aka if you see half the 10, its a 9.
Interesting, the primer did not ignite the powder. Then, a large portion of the powder blew out the back and then the front, so the burn percentage was way low. With no chamber and no barrel the "controlled burn" is completely lost. The bullet velocity was probably way down. It shows how the firearm is a total system, very complex and and all aspects are required to wok to get the desired effect. Awesome job man.
No shit? I feel like if anyone saw a firearm work even once, and thought a cartridge detonating outside of a firearm would ever have any kind of velocity behind it or direction... But, hey.... I don't know anything lol
That's one of those internet inquiries that get more stupid hurt and killed truck on brotha , you have a world full of wizards waiting for another brain storm.
You need a projectile with a mass matched to the primer for a collision that is low enough energy to not blow through the primer. Look up momentum transfer for collisions.
Ummm in 1980 when I was 12 years old I set a .38 cartridge on my front porch and put the barrel of my Daisy 880 right up to the primer. Went it went off I was deaf for 12 hours and had massive powder burns on my chest. 5 minutes later the police rolled up. I hid under my bed until my mom came home.
Your videos are always the best💯 I do receive a notification each time you post a new video.. We'll have regrets for things we did not participate in...Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life.
Nice content mate! So happy to announce that I have gained financial freedom by investing in digital currency. Now I know that multi creation of various streams of income is the ideal Principle for financial sustainability.
Agree with you digital currencies that were once viewed as mysterious by many in the past went sky high making millions of dollars for a lot of people including I. It'll definitely do that soon
@Sani Maharasu Crypto trading is the best investment anyone could get into. As it could make you rich in a blink of an eye, trading with an expert is the only key to successful trading
@@mackea4651 Exactly which is why I will always recommend Expert Arjun B Jagat to all Newbies/greenhorn interested in making bigger profits on crypto. He is reliable and profitable
Or just pound a nail or two in behind the bullet (not covering the primer, duh). Just temporarily remove the bullet while you pound the nails in to prevent accidents.
You know the brass is coming straight back at you so put a fairly fine net directly behind the brass and shoot through the net. The hole from the .22 will be much smaller than the .50 shell casing flying back into the net.
@@Fit4C if no one dies for you to save yourself from jail no one died for you to save you from something far worse than jail. Dont think you get an easy pass like that. God will judge you for every deed and misdeed. Ain't nobody died for you.
I also when very young and dumb with my best bud would throw 410 shells at the sharp rock pile and dive/duck before they went off luckily none did and buds big brother caught us and gave us the deserved beating lol
I know you didnt know this at the time but from looking at the slow-mo the brass flies backwards. Just put a screw behind the brass that sticks out enough to keep it from flying backwards.
Pretty sure OP comment meant Grant Thompson for some reason, the guy from King of Random who died paragliding. This channel uploaded twice this week with Richard in it (guy on this video)
when you shoot tannerite, does the bullet manage to travel through it before it detonates? would be cool to see if so in slow-mo, thanks for the epic video's!!
DUDEEE THIS IS THE COOLEST GUN VIDEO EVER!! The slow mo, music editing... just wow, demolition ranch and Edwin Sarkissian has more subs but they surely has some stuff to learn from you. needless to say, instant sub
I had a BB gun and put a 12 gauge round directly in front of it and had a wood board covering the other side of the round and when I pulled the trigger it actually set off the round. It's hard to believe that I was eight years old at the time. I was impressed but shock because I realized how dumb that was for me to do.
Me too. A bb taped over the end of a 30-30 shell will set it off when you pull the slug out and slip it over the end of a crossbow bolt and shoot it at a car body.
I used to duct taspe .50 cal blanks to a board and shoot the primers with a 12 ga shotgun with #7 1/2 birdshot and they went off every time. Usually found the brass, too. Did that hundreds of times. I think your .22 is just a bit rough on the primers. All you need to do is dimple them, not shoot them out. Try it with a shotgun. It's spectacular. Great video, by the way. I love this kind of content.
Unfortunately there wasn’t enough pressure for all the smokeless powder to burn. Now if that shell was loaded with black powder it would’ve been far more interesting.
Someday America is going to need a ragtag group of uniquely skilled individuals to defend it, and this guy is going to be the marksman of that ensemble.
Use the metal strapping wrapped around back of casing with one of the holes from strapping used right over the primer for the .22 round's access to the primer. Strap to others using holes/screws into wood
It’s even better that it appears to be laying in a piece of brass that had already been laying there for years. Hopefully you guys police that brass and at least not leave it out there. (I don’t care if you reload it or not, I just try and get everyone to not leave trash on the land.)
