You should freeze dry a mini pumpkin then stabilize it with stabilizing resin then coat it with shellac so you can use it for the Halloween after that! 🎃

That nesting is like chemical reactions. Its compleatly random when the reactants will successfully collide but when all of them have, they're neatly stacked together to make the product. Who knew this would become a science lesson? 😂

I think making the soup could be interesting! You could dump in tons of seasonings and herbs(to account for some washing out), and then maybe put a couple different kinds of sauces in the detergent and fabric softener trays?

The nesting effect is actually the same thing that occurs with cords/strings in a drawer. Over time, the random agitation coincidently leads to a more stable state making it harder and harder to unknot/un-nest and thus leads to knots/nested plates.

In europe (atleast where I live) we don't this kind of washing machines. I own a top-loader, in which the drum is perpendicular to the floor and the hatch on it locks, but I now use a front-loader since it's larger. You should try a tumble dryer style washing machine.

You should put legos in a cereal box and shake until the go together. My science teacher would do this with Duplo legos. You have to shake it a lot though(our teacher would have students shake the box each class period). I wonder if it would work with legos in a washing machine. Big legos probably work better.

Somehow I could have guessed that a modern washing machine would go off-balance and freak out when you tried this! Maybe you'd get better results in an old-school washer with an agitator and old-school mechanical controls...
