Don't forget that in 5 years' time, there will be thousands of open-source custom AI, so it will not cost much; no one can stop or prohibit this. By the way, Alex, do you know why people in the US still send faxes? Is there any rational reason for that?. Regarding AI, nobody's saying that AI will take all jobs, of course not, but it will take a significant amount of jobs. There is a course at Harvard Uni where the smartest professors confirm this. But you mentioned a very interesting point that capitalism wouldn't profit from AI expansion. That's why I think that capitalism will actually end soon, and the ruling class will use AI to control the population, which will be without jobs and money. I mean, this will be a new world, and the richest people, corporations, they won't need us to buy stuff anymore. They just changed their strategy. They will need us just to be semi-slaves and just be under total control by using AI. That's why they're inventing climate allowances to limit people's shopping, green passports, universal minimum income, they will put restrictions on our credit cards to limit shopping, etc., as they already see this future and how they will control the population, which will not have enough jobs for everyone and will be living on minimum income because of AI. A scary picture of the future!

Despite fears that these models will eventually replace human workers, the research shows that this is unlikely to materialise. Without human oversight to contextualise the responses and critically evaluate their accuracy, there’s a considerable risk that you’ll incorporate incorrect or harmful information into your work, jeopardising its quality and, more widely, your professional reputation. We're a long way from AI being able to actually think through and solve problems. If anything, QA becomes more valuable in catching errors made when the development process relies too much on AI, which produces sloppy work. Personally, the hype over AI seems overblown. Too many people just assuming the all knowing AI has all the answers. It's a step up from Siri or Alexa, but it's nowhere near some people think it is.

@@alexusadays Well, first of all, most of what you described above that cannot be done by AI,- actually is already done by BlackRock's Aladdin AI. Aladdin makes decisions for humans, analyzes, buys, sells, downgrades, upgrades, etc., without any human oversight, and it's very good at it. Second, we are about to see quantum computers in a couple of years' time which are capable of doing tasks in a few seconds that other traditional supercomputers need a few thousand years (Google already has the Sycamore processor). It will be a transition from quantity to quality: a neglected causal mechanism, nothing more than that!
