Joshua got dragged kicking and screaming to the first usyk fight. Desperate Hearn even tried to use poor old del boy as a blocker. Ducked usyk for 2 YEARS
@@ipanemakid3058 he took on Usyk as his mandatory because he couldn’t get the undisputed done with Fury because Fury was ducking AJ , the only guy that ducked Usyk was Fury
That take on Dubois work rate being too much for AJ is ridiculous , to use Usyk as a measuring stick . AJ kept up with Usyk for 12 rounds twice and lost competitive fights , lost 8-4 twice , Dubois couldn’t win a second of any of the rounds against Usyk and quit in the 9th round simply because he couldn’t keep up with the work-rate of his opponent, revision is history Hatman
@@youngerudit2524its coz the boxing journalists( most of them) suck up to Warren..when Flabs sr. headbutted that guy one of them first said the other guy got in his face ( n he was there ) later after pushback from youtubers he changed his tune.except for Adam Catteral they favour Queensbury over matchroom.if AJ signed with Warren they will give him his due.
And they’d be right on both accounts, whoever Aj fights he’ll be doing it because he thinks they’re an easier opponent, Aj knowing that another loss would destroy his chances of facing the winner of Fury Usyk 2, will choose the path of least resistance
AJ's next opponent isn't even announced yet and hatman's already saying he's ducking despite his resume 😂 Joshua clearly isn't the best fighter of this generation but he's never been in the business of swerving opponents
@@beefcake3808 Whether you like Joshua or not, there is no way he has the weakest resume’. That accolade without doubt belongs to Tyson Fury, you must be one of his fan girls…! 😂
If he fights Zhang instead of Dubois it's hardly a duck, that's probably the riskier fight. But if he fights Parker I'm cancelling my DAZN subscription.
Will be better for you to cancel your subscription 😅 Because Parker is going to smoke him and you will lose your money again like you lost to Wilder and Zang😂😂😂
From looking at comments, it seems there's a divide among fans what they want as AJs next fight. It's either Zhang or Dubois that fans want, I would not be mad at either fight.
Love him or hate him, Joshua's never ducked anyone,so what are you talking about. I'd be very surprised if dubois heard the final bell if they did fight.
That is cap! If hatman think AJ would duck He is the only heavy weight apart from uysk who is willing to fight anyone Wilder, fury, Ruiz would duck as they are deceitful toad rags
@@MeeshyMish old enough not to be brainwashed by the media to hate Whites and love trans and gays and other abnormal behaviors like furries lol. be brave, go against it. You'll feel better about yourself.
I watched the Hearn interview and they are not cagey at all. They said if dubois has the full title they fight him. If he doesnt then the other 2 are options. For me that was very clear and also pretty obvious
He went after them because of their limitations. He knew that Wilder couldn't fight from the back foot and Zhang has slow feet and is as stiff as it can be. Against Zhang all he needed to do was to stay low since stiff Zhang can't change level, and yet he got knocked down twice. AJ is a total different beast. The only reason Parker wants to face AJ again is for the big bag.
@@Monkeybizz99 AJ cant handle high work rate pressure, with constant pressure/feints and that is how Parker fights now. AJ gasses and as we have both agreed on earlier, once gassed he is chinny and its all a recipe for a hard night for him. Hed have better lucky with Dubois, or Zhang possibly.
@@azc29103 while dubois has been fighting the top 5 aj has been fighting bums so your comment makes no sense dubois is the mandatory number 1 contender
@@marcust123 the only top 5 guy Dubois has fought is Usyk and he lost . Hrgovic is certainly not top 5 , probably top 10, people were putting Otto Wallin top 10 and AJ destroyed him . As Great as Dubois did against Hrgovic (I was highly impressed ) he was losing on the cards heavily before the knockout
@@Tommy-pz2yc "Fresher" yet has been stopped more times than AJ. Hatman said himself in the video Dubois has horrible defence and will likely get stopped by AJ so no idea why he's suggesting AJ might duck him.
@@splinter360 because it's the heavyweight division and anything can happen. You thought Lewis would of got beaten by mcall? You thought ali would of lost to Spinks? You think Aj would of lost to ruiz?
Massive respect for you, Hatman, but when it comes to Joshua you catastrophize a bit. 😅 It's more than likely gonna be Dubois. The risk of Joshua getting chinned is there too, but it's a bigger domestic fight. It simply doesn't make sense to fight Zhang or Parker.
It is hilarious how Dubois is a smash hit after beating Miller and Hergovic. Miller was always a winnable fight for Dubois, against Hergovic he could have been stopped early, if Hergovic hit hard enough. AJ will stop Dubois early. AJ is not ducking Dubois.
It’s hilarious how AJ is a smash hit again after beating his sparring pigeon Wallin and an MMA guy. Buddy won 5 rounds across the two Usyk fights combined LMAO.
@@maxivic1584 True, that the Joshua hype from the Ngannou KO is nonsense, but so was the fact he was written-off to begin with. 🤷🏽♂️ Also, don't act like Usyk had an easy time with Joshua. Usyk's face was a bloody mess at the end of the first fight, and in the rematch Joshua had him hurt to the body and was putting it on him and making him clinch more than I've ever seen Usyk clinch.
@@chuxx7335 Yeah, it's interesting how some boxing fans behave. A guy loses and suddenly he's no good. Oddly they don't seem to realize that in saying someone like Joshua is no good, it takes away any merit beating him has.
Hatman I think your doing too much here Hearn not AJ sound cautious about the Dubois fight 🤣🤣idk what kind of vibe your getting I think AJ and Hearn are confident he’ll beat any of these guys tbh. Ducking is a stretch and Ik your not saying he’s ducking but even insinuating so is a bit far fetched IMO
Lol im not even Joshuas biggest fan but to claim he would duck Dubois of all people is diabolical work. And I actually think Dubois has a solid shot at winning 😂
You say this because you're ignorant. At 18 Dubois dropped GayJay 4 times in sparring. And you say easy? Who got better in the past 8 years....Dubois has. That's why they won't make the Dubois fight.
@@NderstandMe.-jg5fy GayJay is stiff also. Dubois is mentally a child and doesn't have fear when he should. GayJay is scared of his shadow, since his jaw is somewhat brittle. Either of them can win by KO but I would definitely give it to Dubois to get the job done.
It’s the optics Hatman. It isn’t about Dubois. It’s about the optics of Joshua picking up a vacant belt. Your point would be valid if they wouldn’t fight Dubois at all. They clearly put that qualifier in there for a reason. Reason being Joshua needs to win a title off a champion as he’s done before.
@@papadwarf6762 hard to say aj hasnt beat a legit top 10 hw since 2020 while zhang has been fighting all the top 5 i think zhang will be a nightmare for aj with that constant pressure and power
Parker doesn't have the slightest chance to beat AJ. He doesn't go on bike and fight AJ like he fought Wilder and Zhang he will get put asleep and if he goes on the bike AJ will jab his head of.
I’m a bit surprised that you feel this way Hatman, I’ve got a lot respect for your opinion especially after your accurate prediction fir the Fury/Usyk fight. I agree the last Parker/AJ fight was a bit boring but, Parker seems to have improved…far more aggressive. I think that’s probably the hardest night for Joshua. Fact is though, Joshua will fight whoever he needs to regain a title. Out of the three possibles you’ve mentioned, Dubois is the easiest option but, I don’t really care. They’re all good fights. I’d still like to see Fury/AJ but, Fury’s never going to do it ahead of these guys.
Dubois showed a solid chin in the Miller and Hrgovic fights but a cruiserweight had him down three times in the first round of their fight with one shot to the temple. So if I was AJ I'd target Dubois' temples.
@@Dean-kg2py Not with a clean shot really no, and Miller's power isn't impressive anyway. Miller is more of a volume guy and his weight seems to be his best weapon.
Zhang fight could go globally??.... Dubois big fight in Britain!... i think both are credible. Think your being a bit harsh hatman! Dubois isn't as good as Usyk is he? Can't see AJ having a problem with either one.
crazy that the aj wilder aj fury fights may never happen now, almost definatly the wilder fight wont, aj and hearn are watching 50 to 100 million in pay days disapearing with wilder and fury on verge of retiring. wrong really that these fights have never happend. looking at wilder and fury now i think aj would have iced the pair of them, think fury knew he would lose agaist aj, wilder through he could win agaist aj but wilders managers knew he couldnt
For the first time ever u disagree with you bruva.I think at this stage of his career Parker will take more risks against aj and I don't want to see ddd have another lose at this stage in his career
@@riverdean7And he will win. AJ won't be able to keep him at bay and Parker will outwork him. AJ still can't throw more than one or two combinations per round, without gassing.
AJ said whoever looks the most impressive. Zhang blew Wilder out of the water and triple D had some adversity to go through. I would prefer to see AJ fight Zhang as He’s the most dangerous and threatening. To see if He can do Him like He did Ngannou. Then we’ll know that AJ 3.0 is fully complete
Hatman you are missing one thing . There is a change the undisputed rematch may not happen and AJ would be up next . Since he is committed to the fight in September then he can take the softest touch in that fight and then go for the Usyk or even fury fight . No matter what , it seems like Joshua has one more fight (September) to crack the title challenge, so it doesn’t really matter who he fights
In terms of what would be the most exciting fight and the most competitive fight , I would wanna see AJ vs Zhang , but if Dubois is elevated to IBF Champ they will defo make AJ vs Dubois , which is fine because that will be good as well, but Zhang is a much tougher opponent than Dubois
How would he be ducking him when they’re not even in talks to fight as Joshua’s next opponent is not yet known, I expect more than gossip from you my friend
All 3 are a step up for AJ from his previous fights so I don't mind which. Parker will be the most tactical, Dubois will be the most exciting and Zhang probably the most dangerous. Of course I doubt AJ will receive much credit for beating any of them from certain boxing fans. They'll just say that he already beat Parker before, that Zhang is too slow and old, and Dubois was easy work anyway. 🤔
I've been quite impressed with Dubois' recent run of form against Miller and Hrgovic, but for me, he leaves himself far too open, particularly to the straight right. You do not want to be eating rights from AJ the way Dubois was against Hrgovic, and it's not like he moves his head or upper body, either. As for the ducking talk, I really don't understand it. Joshua did his best to be a throwback fighter, and while he came up short, he fought as many of the top guys and pursued unifications where he could. What makes Dubois different that Joshua would duck him? Seems to me that you're jumping the gun here.
To be fair the ref in the Parker fight made it a stinker. If AJ lines Parker up for the uppercut it could be a bit more interesting. A fight with dubois or zhang would be more interesting though as we have seen Parker
Spot on 100% it ll be Parker. Eddies a business man he don’t want difficult fights for AJ Zhang is too clever for AJ. Only way AJ wins that is take Zhang into deep waters
I don’t agree. I know the Brit’s love the domestic fights, but AJ vs Zhang is more than credible and actually, a better chess match. And Zhang is 41, so his days are numbered. It’s better to get him now before he ages out. Dubois will be there next year, Zhang may not. 🤷🏾♂️
Please not a Parker vs Joshua fight again but AJ vs Dubois or AJ vs Zhang is great but Daniel will need to have a crash course in how to avoid getting hit with right hands if he wants to WIN or he gets Knocked out by AJ
Based on what, their accomplishments or favouritism? AJ ranks higher than them and is clearly the second best of this era and deserves to takeover the crown of the undisputed championship from Usyk.
@Thebaneo123 Both have beaten opponents AJ would have destroyed within 6 rounds. AJ is a former two-time unified world champion. AJ went 24 rounds with Usyk and DDD quit against him. Parker won't survive 12 rounds with Usyk that's for sure. These two guys have zero chance of beating AJ. He's simply better than them in all departments of the sweet science. Only casuals like you can't see it. I hope Warren has the balls to throw DDD into the ring with AJ so that you fickle casuals get shut up.
@Monkeybizz99 Based on recent wins. Aj been rebuilding against meh opponents. Jermaine Franklin, Helenius, Wallin and Francis while Parker and Dubois have both beaten #1 contenders. Parker has actually beaten 2 back to back!
Won't joshua and hearn have to do what Turki tells them to do, doesn't, he pick the fights, Hearn has sneaked into saudi on warrens back I don't think he'll upset the applecart.
The real question; what's on the cards after these possible fights? Usyk has beaten AJ and Dubois decisively already. AJ has already beaten parker. Parker has already beaten Zhang (though if his tank was better, Zhang would have won). Parker V dubois is a better fight. AJ should win easily against Dubois if the hype is to be believed. But the real issue is AJ is a shot fighter post Usyk. He beat a novis and a Poundland Usyk. Great. Dubois is not and will never be any good. Parker and Zhang would beat him. Reality of the situation is Usyk needs to fight Zhang and Parker. Then he can take all the heavyweight division titles back to the cruiserweight division. Weak HW era
Usyk needs to fight Parker then he's fought the best in his Era. He's beat everyone one else bit not Parker, Parker beat bang and doctor sleep. Usyk already beat AJ twice and DDD so he should fight Parker if Parker wins his next fight.
I think AJ would've learnt a few lessons on how to deal with southpaws from fighting Usyk and those lessons and experience would put AJ in good stead to fight a Zhang. Dubois would be a good match up too. Parker fight would be the boring choice of those 3.
I can visualise an AJ TKO in rounds 3-5. I think Dubois will get through AJ's guard at some point, get overexcited, and walk right into one. I don't think it would be a clean KO, but he wouldn't be up for the 8 count.
I would worry most in AJs camp about the zhang fight, he's bigger than AJ and would be the hardest puncher he has fought. AJ has a horrible poker face when he gets tagged and think zhang would take him out inside 5 rounds. Can't imagine AJ having any issues with Parker or Dubois.
You mad he has already beat zhang...aj will box him yo gas him out jabs to the body then takes him out late...but out of all the fights zhang is hardest
Spot on . What about dubois Vs Parker they both in line for a title soon ? And ain't fought .actually would be competitive and Parker would have major trouble with a hard hitting high cardio fighter as he isn't the biggest hitter .dubois would have trouble with a fast handed well schooled Parker who has a gas tank .both lost to Joe Joyce .it would be intresting . AJ Vs dubois is the most watchable sure . But Parker dubois both comming off two good wins .both top ten both enjoyable fighters to watch .
Hatman can you do a video soon on this Hw era as it wraps to a close? In my mind, unlike previous eras that are in line with the decades (eg 80’s, 90’s etc) this has been from nov 2015 when fury beat Klit and will end in the next year or two once AJ fury and usyk get beat off the younger guys or retire. If AJ beat Dubois and then fights the winner of the fury usyk rematch that could well close this chapter. But what a great decade of Hw fights we’ve seen 2015-2025
Dunno why Hatman keep doing this, he was saying the same thing about Otto wallin then AJ smashes him, then what lol he will smash dubious and AJ ducks no one
You people never learn. Dubios has a very good chance of beating Aj and anything can happen with the heavyweights. Aj hadn't fought anyone world level since uysk. Stop with this weird hype
@@Tommy-pz2ycBruh, nobody said Dubois can’t win. You keep saying “anything can happen” like people are implying Dubois CAN’T win. they already know anything can happen, they just happen to pick the opposite choice to yours. 😂😂😂
@@Tommy-pz2yc I agree he could possibly lose, but we talking about Aj ducking Dubois, which I think it’s rubbish! It’s almost like they try to blackmail him every time. Aj always fights whichever competition.
AJ vs dubois is next. After that It might be AJ vs Parker or AJ vs The winner of Usyk vs Fury 2 .When they start emphasizing on a narrative, it means it will not happen.
He will fight Dubois for sure because he wants the title, AJ will beat both Parker & Dubois anyway. Not sure about Zhang :D Unless Eddie is hoping Dubois will fight Zhang and take him out for him
In order of viewing desirability: 1st. AJ vs Dubois 2nd. AJ vs Zhang 3rd. AJ vs Parker Yes AJ could beat all of them, but in terms of excitement it's Daniel Dubois who carries the most high energy+ power danger, for as long as the fight lasts.....and it definitely won't go 12 rounds. If Dubois or Zhang hit AJ clean then he's in big trouble If Patker hits AJ clean then it'll be a concern but nothing too serious If AJ hits any one of them clean then yes it's trouble....but much more serious trouble for Dubois (the most vulnerable) and then Parker...Zhang has a better chin than the other 2, as I see it. It will say much for where AJ is at mentally now if he goes straight in for Dubois, just because of the nature of Dubois's recent wins since he was stopped by Oleksander Usyk. Joseph Parker has never been a man KOing opponents for fun, most if not all of his more noteworthy wins are over 12 rounds, because he doesn't carry that true KO power as Dubois and Zhang do... he's a cumulative puncher with a decent chin. Zhang is slow...but as we already know he's not Joe Joyce slow...but he's undeniably very heavy handed, imposing with his height and weight, and boxes very well out of his South Paw stance, he will give AJ trouble and AJ will have to box, hit and move and hope not to get clipped,...but Aj does have the power to possibly KO Zhang.
