Honestly was the thing that made the film stand out for me!

Soundtrack was great, the movie itself? Not so much, kinda disappointing really.

Soundtrack blew my mind. Need to check which of these songs are original which classics, listening to it I was under the impression those are all classic Roman Catholic stuff.

@@musalyre1691 the lyrics are a combination of Kyrie Eleison "god have mercy", commonly sung in Sunday mass, and the Dies Irae, a latin Hymn from the middle ages. The latter is commonly used as a late motif in movies regarding topics of death, as the lyrics talk about the judgement day. One of the most popular examples of this is the score for Sweeney Todd; there´s a youtuber that has a whole essay on the topic, I don´t remember the name, but you could just search for "Sweeney Todd Dies Irae" and you might find it.

It takes me a quiet long moment to understand the lyrics, in fact this is a "patchwork" of lines from the latin prayer "Dies irae". The first line is an uncommon "Kyrie Eleison"... and the line "Absolve, Domine Christe" is too very uncommon, doesn't see it anywhere else but I'm 95% sure that's which it is sang. :) I think the lyrics are : Kyrie eleison Christe... Mors stupebit et Natura. Absolve, Domine Christe. Dies irae, dies illa, Solvet saeclum in favilla. Mors stupebit et Natura, Cum resurget creatura, Liber scriptus proferetur, In quo totum continetur. That is correct, but Khrie elesion and Absolve Domime Christe do appear in some versions of Mass for the Dead (see Wikipedia). It's patched together with many different verses from different parts of this Mass. And maybe some other parts. Result is not very intelligible but fits the idea of inverse of immaculate conception that is the theme of the movie. Cheers from Croatian in China!

YES!! I'm also searching for that one because it reminded me of Fulci movies and some scores by Morricone but I'm not being able to find it, it seems to me that maybe is not part from the original soundtrack?

just found it, as we suspected is from an old giallo movie, the name is La Dama Rossa Uccide Sette Volte (Ripresa)
