Tbh, Chenle actually has really good pronunciation! He really didn't sound like a foreigner at all. I'm low-key impressed by how good his pronunciation was, considering he isn't fluent in English. He pronounced almost every word perfectly!

I hope SM doesn't take this video down because I want Johnny and Mark to look at it in the future and see how crazy they looked misusing AAVE and teaching it to Chenle as if Steph Curry won't understand regular English. The worst part is that Johnny got offended(as he should) when an American interviewer said his English was good as if he wasn't a native English speaker just because he's Asian and that was a micro aggression and he reacted the right way because the interviewer was being dumb and stereotyping him. So how is he not seeing that this is the same thing that was done to him by that interviewer? Anyway I'm glad Chenle didn't take their advice and spoke to Steph using regular English. I'm also glad that Steph replied and sent him a jersey, I'm happy his dream came true.
