They are tredding water at this point. They may have a random EV product to offer, but when NIO or BYD has seven or eight EV choices, the Western models don't stick out. I drive a Ford, partly out of patriotism to my home country,. Every time I go for an oil change, the choices on the show room have dwindled.
what these people are taking about. up until now, chinese ev cars companies survive because of china 's own market which is the world biggest ev market.
AS AN AMERICAN BUSINESS MAN I AM NOT ONLY SHOCKED BUT STUNNED BY THE LEVEL OF WESTERN ARROGANCE AND BUSINESS STUPIDITY. THE WEST IS ONLY 12% OF THE GLOBAL POPULATION AND MARKET..88%OF THE GLOBAL POPULATION IS IN THE GLOBAL SOUTH .THE GLOBAL SOUTH MARKETS AND RISING POPULATIONS ARE GOING TO BE THE CENTERS OF GLOBAL ECONOMIC GROWTH. CHINESE COMPANIES ARE GOING BE JUST FINE. ARE WESTERN COMPANIES GOING TO BE ABLE TO COMETE GLOBALLY?
Since Europeans can't competes with the Chinese, its good to add more sanctions, tariffs on China products. This will makes the Europeans feel good paying more for the quality as the other paying less for the same quality. I paid more than you on this products. Dude. 🤣
@@erwin734 range of 1300 km with a wet road, a speed of 120 km/hr, a change in elevation to a higher one and air conditioning operating. All energy vampires. I am sure the range will be waay up if these conditions were changed.
You have never left your own home State in the boooonies also So I’m not surprised 😂😂😂 As you type your suddenly woah oak-snow fl ache indignation on a Chinese made gadget
China EVs will be fine - Europe is a tiny market compared to Chinese domestic demand, the real question is, will European ICE manufacturers survive the inevitable counter tariffs from China? Their main market... edit: Actually nice article guys. Pretty spot on. Be nice to see some BYD factories around the world so if that's Europe's game then I'm behind it. China has always had a brutally competitive environment btw. It's how they roll.
The main market for European cars is Europe, NOT a poor place like China. And if Europe is such tiny market then why is China still SCARED to put tarrifs vs the EU, huh bot? EU got 12 MILLION jobs in car industry. That need to be protected Let China enjoy the market of Africa. 💪😎 You know, places with similar standard of living like China and Africa should cooperate. 👍👍👍👍👍
@@Just_another_Euro_dude did u read the news wrongly? it is EU applies new extra tariff on chinese EVs, not ur "why is China still SCARED to put tarrifs vs the EU" yeah right, im buying the new BYD QinL $14000, can travel 2400km for 1 tank of gas not really suitable for u, u can keep ur car
China will not survive European tariffs. But both China and Europe will adapt. Europe will pay a hefty price too if there's no deal. Too much money not to work out some deals!
Go ahead. Absolutely no one stopping you. So why are you scared to do it then? Oh, that's right. At the end of the day you are still a third world country that ain't as powerful as you were tricked to belive you are.
just like how the US reciprocated China's illegal subsidies and exclusion of foreign EV battery makers in China's local EV market with equal response (aka, the US IRA).
Those EU tarriffs should be applied then those ev,s that were earmarked for the European market will be diverted to other countries in s.e Asia, Africa and south America and central Asia. Thailand and Brazil now have BYD factories so other countries around the world will be getting ev,s much sooner than expected.
EU leaders will be wise to assess the robustness of EV in the EU, hence the probable extent of pervasiveness of Chinese EV in the EU, versus losses in exports of ICE cars to China, as EU made parts or finished cars, as a result of retaliatory tariffs.
Europes car manufacturers wont survive the tarifs, their source of profitable ev models for their future will be basicallybtaken away and those companies stelantis, vag, bmw and mercedes will not survive.
Europeans love to buy expensive stuff, i think they feel superior that way "Hey, I've got money you know! I paid twice as much for the same thing, look how rich i am!"
Funny how USA with only 330 million people doesn't have population crisis but Europe with 750 million does and China with 1,4 billion people does. Easy to guess who is the one pushing that narrative. The Muhrikan mainstream media.
@@tooltalk never mind, i wasn't that serious to the detail, i was actually saying, i don't mind chinese ev, but if japan and korea wants to make ev, then, i don't even know how to answer that.
NIO business model will become a standard and each EV car producers will need to follow. He don't mentioned NIO 😂😂. Is the best EV PREMIUM CAR in China. THE OTHER CAN JUST FOLLOW UP 😍🔝❤️
The future of Chinese electric cars outside China 🇨🇳 is still uncertain. They are copycats and have not been proven to be safe. Currently, they are mostly sold in Russia, where most Western companies have left.
F ache News liar pants on fire 👇 Nine Chinese cars scored five stars in Euro NCAP in 2023 In 2023, Euro NCAP crash-tested 17 cars. Nine of them were Chinese EVs, accumulating over 50% of assessed vehicles. According to E-NCAP, Chinese manufacturers were anxious to prove their relevance to European buyers. They have achieved this goal because every evaluated made-in-China car got five stars.Dec 11, 2023 CarNewsChina
Btw who cares China is the largest EV market in the world last year selling 8 million cars this year expected to sell 10 million cars But 30 million cars are sold in China every year So that leaves 20 million ice vehicles many of them being American and European made cars
China 🇨🇳 has a *faulty economic model,* which causes frictions with other countries. Experts have warned China for years that the model is not sustainable. China has already experienced property sector overcapacity crashing. Soon, its EV and solar panel will face the same fate as Evergrande and Country Gardens.
In China in 2008 around 70% of the people in their real estate markets were buying their 1st homes in their cities By 2018 around 70% of the people in their real estate markets were buying their 2nd and 3rd homes in their cities That’s why you are hearing about problems with their property developers these days. Because back in 2010? Their Central Government started cutting of money flow to these developers. Thus why you heard about Shadow Banks and Underground Economy back then, that their Government had to come into to shutdown or regulate. Even then, It took them almost 14 years to get their overheated real estate under control Heck they were about to introduce a nation wide property tax, but then trump started the trade war in 2018 Why is their Central Government doing this? Because there are still a few hundred million poorer rural folk they still expect to move to the cities to join their more well off urban city folk countrymen. Problem is these property developers were building higher end homes, and not building the affordable homes these rural migrants will need In China Owning a home in the city you migrate to? Affects your employment, health, education and even marriage prospects don’t have a house you don’t get married Thus the common prosperity push and the crackdown on the overt displays of wealth in China Their Government probably figured out you disenfranchise the people at the bottom of your society they are the ones most likely to act out in protest
If me buying a chinese product makes my country face unemployment then so be it Keep your politics out of my wallet Free market . I can buy chinese products. If my economy is so screwed up that me buying chinese products create issues then tell your ceos to loose their belts I ll buy more chinese products. To hell with your politics
If you live in a free market economy, you would surely have experienced periodical market and property crashes. A free market regulates through competition and attrition. And no country can export without an over capacity or more importantly an over production situation. Germany export 50% of the cars it makes, how about banning German cars for its over capacity policies?
Barbarousness and immorality will never outcompete civilization and justice. Likewise, the EU will never yield to China, whose governors have been ruthlessly obliging local labours to work with an anti-humanitarian working hour and employee welfare in order to reap an enormous amount revenue while expand their market share by selling their commodities in an immensely low price to disrupt the foreign good markets.
Funny. Calling other countries barbarous while Western countries have been looting rest of world directly or indirectly for the last few hundred years to support your civilized society. Have you thought about you and your descendants paying for your own barbarous acts to the world?
