Will Drone Shows Replace Fireworks? 

Between the stunning visual drama of true 3D graphics and the wide open image and animation possibilities- it's DRONES! Hands down. And the silence is dynamic! So much more poetic than loud explosions. Plus my dogs appreciate the lack of loud booms.

I love fireworks shows in Ouray, CO, and Whitefish, MT. However, intrinsically safe drones, similar to Sky Elements USAs Fort Worth it!; provide far less fire ignition danger than fireworks during drought and potentially severe wildfire conditions. Keep flyin'!

I recently found out about these drone shows. I haven't been able to see them in person yet but I plan to with some relatives. I have family who served our country and I know how difficult the loud noises and sometimes even the flashing lights can be for them. So I tear up watching things like this. These are the things that my relatives can actually go see. Plus they don't stress out wildlife and pets. These are not only helping the environment be healthy, but also entertain everyone. I truly appreciate everyone who is constantly thinking of ways to make this world a better place

I am the victim of a fireworks disaster. The stands were too close to the launch pad, and a professional mortar went into the stands. There isn't much valor in friendly fire but you still get the ptsd. At least we get shelled in style. 13 were injured and went to the hospital. I lost part of my hearing from the explosion. I tell people it is from not wearing hearing protection at metal concerts so I don't have to go over the accident. So I am all for this. Besides, I live in the city and it is is like WWI for 3 months out of the year. This is why we can't have nice things, because we used to be limited to sparklers. I love an explosion, still, as much as any American but if it means getting bigger munitions away from the general publicI am all for it.

They are an (amazing) addition, not a replacement. I love the noise, smell and atmosphere of a firework show. Not only that, the sounds of fireworks going off in the distance makes me smile, knowing that somewhere, someone is having fun.

Those action figures are the advertising. That's one reason companies want fireworks replaced. Ad revenue. With fireworks you don't really have that.

No. They will supplement firework shows and also do standalone shows, but they will not replace fireworks. Don't get me wrong, I love drone shows, but they're not the same as firework shows and trying to compare them is a bit silly. Also what's with the stupid music soundtrack all the way through your little film?

I hope you guys one day bring it to Virginia Beach ,Va. I love it. It's awsome what you do with drones. A combination of both drone show followed by fire works. I believe drones show will replace fireworks. Even though i still like fire works also.

The booms of fireworks is a good symbol of military power with the booms for example and all the gun fire used. Actually Peoria Illinois had some new type fireworks never seen before but i wasn't able to go. Further away and my car was too low on oil to make it there let alone back. I still want to see my first drone show though. However want i want to see is better use of light color changes for animation effects added to the formation effects. Also after watching world record shows online there is a small part of the shows that displays an actual low resolution video in drone light pixels and was maybe not the best frame rate but was an actual video made with drones. That was in China. Was a video of a snow skier. Probably Chinese for their own patriotism but i liked the idea. Because i noticed in some drone shows they sinc lighting up better and can add additional animation without more movement. The animation can be extra special effects. For example eye color changes or a rings where the drones can do a circle while another light spins around in either direction. But this is the drones synchrony changing the light making it appears as motion without movement. But not the best use. Maybe the lights change like an animation to the formation. Such as glowing effects, a sparkle effect. Off on effects. Maybe a color changing wave effect of something you want changed but to stay the same shape. Or to make other shapes sooner without moving the drone to a new location. The drones are pixels. Remember that.

Can droneshows be used to play pong? Get the audience to use their smartphone where they can shout into the mic. Their voice (loudness) will be used to move the paddle

Can drones make thunderous booms that rattle ones chest?

As a little kid I hated fireworks - mostly for the noise, but also the danger, environmental damage, potential to start fires, and so on. Now I enjoy them more but these issues are still present. As a kid I pondered if fireworks shows could be replaced by shows with lighted model airplanes flying around and doing aerobatics. I never could have imagined anything this spectacular along those lines, a far more technologically extravagant version of that idea. And certainly more memorable than fireworks - once you've seen one fireworks show you've seen them all pretty much.

How is it more friendly to the environment? Please explain? I want facts not BS and how do you recycle all those batteries. Are the plastics made from recycled plastics? Is the metal from reclaimed metal? Are the PCBs made from pre or post consumer material? What is the repairable percentage of crashed drones? Seriously I doubt the eco/environmental friendly impact given the batteries. I bet one drone battery failure would equate to one John Smiths Firework Display.

The tech is cool, but killing fireworks isn't cool. Mix drones and fireworks. Drones are boring. Maybe it would be different if every show was 1000 drones. Movie promotion like this is fine, but stop trying to kill the 4th of July

These type of replacement firework shows are for people Who in my opinion are like little rabbits Scared of their own Little shadow at all Little noises higher Then A 10 on a decibel scale .🥴🤯 I have 3 little grandchildren under the age of 10. All I do at firework shows is make sure they have hearing protection and they all fine. 🥳
