When they introduced Effie’s mom, the producers said “here, damn!”. It was so last minute and I personally don’t even care. They could’ve made that segment much better.

Effie is the only one I’m actually rooting for. She’s the only one who’s shown growth over these four seasons. She’s came from nothing and literally only sold drugs to survive unlike Tariq & Brayden who did it to rebel against their parents. Shes the only one whose hands are clean as far as murders go and she’s also the only one who’s shows remorse for the things she does. And she’s also the only one with a game plan she got in the game and came up with a escape strategy go to school, sell drugs to pay for it, go to Stanford for robotics and get a job after as a robotics engineer. That was always her plan since the original Power. Wishing death on her is crazy the things she’s done were petty keep in mind her character is a 22 yr old girl.

I wish they could explore more of her backstory from dating back to season one honestly adult ever since the spinoff have been out in the last four years the only happy endings characters I can think of was from raising Kanan like symphony got out of New York and relocated to North Carolina and Famous’s sister Jessica left New York to pursue her music in California.

I think Effie will survive, I don’t know why they would introduce her mother two episodes before the series is over just to kill her off, I think Effie will be part of a spinoff that’s gonna include Cane and her mother

Effie a survivor and not that high paid, she a character within the budget I believe she will survive.. Davis on the other hand clearing a nice check each show, he gonna bite the bullet Tariq will go back to being the face of the show oh yeah Cane gonna die that expression on Diana face ment she just lost her brother.. and I know they like to manipulate the trailer but this one exactly what it seem..

I have never seen any character in the Power world get out of the game and go straight. Effie pretty self ain’t gonna be the first either. She’s either all in or she done.

@moviebot I can see Effie finding the footage of Carter Killing Kamal. I can see Tariq using that leverage to have Rashad Tate kill Carter for exchange of getting Effie to California. I believe Effie is going to share with Tariq that she got in but she's also gonna reveal to Tariq that even if they're successful with getting Noma and Carter that Kane won't let her leave. I believe its gonna be a Kane and Tariq face off over Effie once Carter and Noma are off the board. In my hunch I believe that the paperwork Noma signed Davis made himself the beneficiary and Kane is going after Davis as well. Those are my thoughts looking at how snowfall ended I can see writers making sure that no one gets what they want except the character that expressed wanting out and making change and that character in Snowfall was Leon. In Power that's Effie.

It was simpler times when we saw the Tariq Effie and Brayden trio since season 1. Now it’s looking like Effie or Brayden or maybe both might not make it out clean or alive. I’m rooting for them.

If Effie does die i think it'll be behind Noma's doing. Noma now has beef with the Tejadas bc she killed Monet and Tariq, and Brayden again. I think Noma would wanna kill anyone she can that ties back to them and that she knows would change up on her. Noma knows Effie wants out the game now and i think Noma is smart enough to realize that Effie will do whatever it takes to get out the game even if that means killing Noma so Noma wouldn't really have any other choice to kill Effie especially if Effie is unaware of wtf is going on rn. Not to mention she's now caught up with Detective Carter now so there's no telling how Effie ends up going towards the end of episode 10.

Effie & davis backstories were suppose to be explained in s3. Unfortunately they fumbled. I mean, we still dont even know who she text to burn tariq at choate.

It would be nice for Effie to live but they really did us dirty never giving us her backstory about her brother for all of these years.. Literally she has been in Power since the OG series she deserved a backstory more than any newbies in the new book

Last year, there were conversations that Power would do a spin off in London. If this is true, I believe that Noma will survive and flee to London. Cane will seek revenge and travel to London in search for Noma. Effie will go with Cane instead of Stanford. There is a reason why Power just introduced Effie's mom. We will learn more about the backstory in the new spin off.

I think Cane is gonna get himself sent to jail by killing Noma, so Drew could go to art school in Paris, Diana could focus on school at Stansfield, and Effie could go to Stanford for her robotics program

She shouldn't. Karma has to catch up to her. She triple crossed Tariq all the way in the original power

If this is the end. Tasha need a Bullet, Tariq need a Bullet, Effie need a Bullet, Drew and Diana need Bullets, Noma need a Bullet. And Detective Carter need BULLETS.
