all broadcast news has always been like this i think. i once told a girlfriend who just HAD to tune into local news EVERY single night how ridiculous i thought it was. i told her if i really gave a sh** about the junk they were presenting that i could read about it myself somehwere else, rather than someone reading useless crap out loud to me, like i was in kindergarten or something. she didn't say much in response but she was pretty offended i think LOL we didn't last too long. i've been on a search for a girlfriend that isn't partially brain dead ever since... i've been searching every socio-economic strata and, nothing against women but, the search isn't going well

real broadcast news is so surreal that it actually moves out of the realm of humor and into the realm of the offensive, pathetic and monumentally stupid. it's probably why this isn't so funny
