I can assure you FFS will NOT be banned! you guys are catching more fish because of it and MLF loves all the new viewers because of FFS. Lets be honest who wants to sit around all day watching you guys NOT catching fish. I can watch myself on the bank not catching fish. If all the tournament guys and gals are allow to have it, then the playing field is equal.

I wish there could be like a combined score. Like Day 1 no FFS. Then the final day let them use FFS to maybe catch the fish that werent caught when they were actually fishing.

Not a chance. FFS is here to stay. FFS has been around for close to eight years now. Just in the last year and a half, people started complaining about it. The majority of the people complaining about it don't even own it. The other complainers just mad someone is beating them, too stubborn to learn it, or do not even own a boat. Go figure 😂. I'm old enough to remember when people were complaining about trolling motors. Then it was the ugly stick. Then it was fish finders. Then mapping. Then power poles. Then 2D. It will always be something. And trust, there are other complaints just not mentioned. The world evolves, so should fishing. The big bags out of the tournament from Lake St. Claire came FFS. That said, the following days after the tournament had A LOT of dead floating fish. Not sure how I feel about that. St Clair already gets ton of pressure already. And Metro is packed on the weekends. I haven't caught any smallies but largies.

Hi Mark: here is my personal invite for bluegill fishing. I was out today with a fellow fisherman. We kept 9 very nice bluegill and put back 3 @ 9.5”, 2 @ 9.75” and 1 @ 10”. I think they might have all been over 1#. Since I live up north these are amazing fish. As you know letting the big ones go helps preserve the quality of the fishery. Travel safe! God Bless. P. S. What would you say is the most versatile bait fishing say the Southeast? Something that you can throw year round and get bites from Jan.-Dec.

Mark would you be ok with Livescope during practice and off during the tournament. Practice with it, mark your fish and come back and fish for them from you marks without it. Also why do tournaments not have a minimum spacing distance requirement to stop these issues with pros crowding pros on the water ?

I’m a huge fan of yours, Mark I met you at Redcrest and I think you’re an awesome person but I’ll level with you. I have not watched the Bass Pro tour at all. I’m just really over watching people stare down at their Ford facing sonar because I can do that, I don’t need. I’m not learning anything. I feel like there’s no knowledge gained And even when I go fish a tournament it’s literally like everybody looks at the map goes out in structure fishes and it’s just a bunch of people staring at a screen and I’m like I’d rather go home and do something else and then go for fun. I honestly don’t enjoy it. I stare at a screen at work. I damn sure don’t wanna do it on my personal time so it’s the whole path that bass fishing is going down. I may just abandon it all together, but it the magic is lost and I would argue that the sport of it is being killed with that

I think you should get to use FFS one hour/day. You can use it anytime you want, but once you start it it stays on for a hour, no breaks.

What are your thoughts on shortening tournament hours thereby reducing the effect of FFS?

MDJ, I don’t think ffs will be banned. There is too much money for the fishing industry and anglers involved. It would really hurt Garmin, Lowrance and Humminbird just to name three. Always pulling for you Mark. I believe you are one of the greatest guys out there. I also love my fruits and vegetables. 🎣🙏

There is no simple straightforward answer But The most important thing that needs be done above all else is to do a lagit impartial study to determine if FFS is having a negative impact on fisheries of all games species especially bass musky walleye and crappie first off Then determine what should be done about FFS one thing is absolutely clear if you have a exceptional level of how to use electronics like FFS to locate fish are as a fisherman at tge level of semi-pro you can with FFS elevate your success to be on par with the top names in pro bass fishing with less than 1/3rd the fishing experience it's already happening

Great show but I doubt it if any electronic company would ever come together to band FFS, my opinion it’s too much money involved maybe just maybe certain lakes or states where you can’t use it but never a complete band

The small 2000 acre size lakes have been raped by FFS. Big bass have been hard to find since. The big lakes haven’t seen the impact yet, and may not because of the amount of water.

Someone needs to make the decision about keeping a circuit old school and No FFS example in MLF or whatever it is now and that circuit would probably dominate due to people flocking over to the other circuit and the publicity would be better for Views witch would be Nice for tournament organizations because that's what they want is more viewers equal more money and B.A.S.S should keep the FFS for the other side of things then what are people going to Bltch about.some tournament organizations needs to do this and they would definitely dominate

I love you and dc and Jacob but the FFS has got to go. There are limitations in every sport and I believe it’s time for bass fishing to step in and make this decision. Watching fish react to your bait in real time is just not fair, and no it is not like 360 or sidescan. All the best on the rest of the season.

That would be a big mistake. Tech is the future of fishing. Fishing is about catching fish, not just going for a boat ride and peace of mind. If tech helps us catch more fish so be it. I may not be able to afford the new tech, but i still love to learn new ways to catch more fish. There is no different in looking down at your FFS or staring at the bank. All I know is I go out to catch fish and learn the best way to do that and if tech is that way then so be it. If I can not afford that tech, I will then take what learn and us it with what I have.
