I hope for better staging than last time, that is all. It was memorable for sure, but I actually struggled looking at the screen at all. Maybe I'm in the minority due to having really bad motion sickness and being prone to migraines, but it was really hard for my eyes/brain, all those stripes and high contrast. Overall I like the song, and would not be mad if we had rock-off with Sweden, Cyan Kicks vs Smash Into Pieces, I loved them last time!
Hopefully we will enter Eurovision this year too. It would be such a waste for not giving our artists the exposure that Eurovision gives to the world. Sadly our national panel UMK has been boycotting by saying that Finland might not/will not enter Eurovision this year if the organizers allow Israel to compete, which if they allow is stupid, because Israel is involved in a war in away that should not allow them to compete like Russia too.
I didn't like it at first listen. On the second listen, I thought the song lacked a "hook". Now I've listened to it many, many times and the song is growing all the time💗🔥❤️. It is known that live in the final Finland always has the best version... so this is currently the best option for UMK to win. I'm still waiting for the others, especially MikaelGabriel. Kiitos, reaktiosi oli hyvä ❤❤❤
Umm...wha...th...bu...wh... ...why was this the 1st song you dropped UMK? WHY?!?!? Now there is no need for a national selection!! We know that Susanna can sing great live (they were 2nd in UMK 2022...lost to The Rasmus), so it's just up to staging, really. Finland...you have one job...vote Cyan Kicks!!!! This should go to Malmö....period!!!!
I most definitely won't give votes for Cyan Kicks 😬 This song left me quite cold. I'm more excited about Windows95man, Sexmane and Mikael Gabriel & Nublu 👀
I would say it reminds too much of some certain songs from the past like Voyager's Promise (the metal parts). The chorus is catchy, but I do not know about "convincing". What I really like about this is those metal parts, because it gives more edge to the song and actually takes the whole song to more progressive direction. Well, one more cross-over song, which blends in pop, rock and metal. Where is rap and jazz?
@@lateksipumppu Well last year Sweden had the most generic pop song. And this song has one Swedish songwriter: Amaranthe's Elize Ryd. Not that I would blame Swedish songwriting for the genericism. I really like the instrumental parts in the middle and in the end. They could have been even longer, because it seems like the chorus starts from 20 seconds and ends at 2:45. Uh. Well, repetition is a way to make a catchy pop song, right? Does it work with rock/metal, even with a progressive / reminder of a Symphonic metal twist? Not Sure.
Sadly, I feel like last year was our year to win. :,) This year we have 3 rap-artists competing, and to be honest I hate 2 of them with a passion. Will see, what happens.
Yeah I don't care for rap either, I understand why those are there. Sexmane is the name in mainstream currently. Not my cup of tea either (which means even without other songs released, I will vote Cyan Kicks)
Yeah I don't understand the hype with Sexmane. I find his live performances to be hard to listen to. And it's not that I absolutely hate rap, it's just that most Finnish rap is not it for me. I actually like Sini a bit, just depends on what kind of song she is competing with.@@duckeh1952
I am not sure about this song. Yeah it is good but not brilliant. Well, I loved Käärijä... So 😂. Maybe this just needs a little bit more time and listening to it again and again
