I thought that was interesting too since they nurse after each other...no problem there. Sheep will only nurse their own babies. That bunting those kids give to nurse would be a game changer for me. Those treats would have to be really special.

When I was a kid, I rode an older appaloosa horse she really liked snow cones the blue raspberry ones were her favorite. I was in 4H our fair and shows were in the middle of July it was easily over 100 that whole week. So both I and Tico (my horse) ate a lot of snow cones. Well I fed her one and went to go ride the fair rides, I get back to the barn to meet up with my dad and I find him in a panic looking all over my horse. He thought she wasn't getting enough air and was listening to her chest when I got there. When he found out the blue color on her lips was a snow cone, he laughed about it and said no more blue colored anything is fed to the horse. So we gave her the her second favorite Pina Colada!
Their little faces are adorable when they eat. It reminds me of feeding dandelion flowers to our rabbits as a little girl. It was so fun to watch the flowers disappear past those cute little faces.
My goats loved lemonade. I figured that out during a fair when I turned around and caught my oldest with her entire face in the cup. It was really good though, the fair stand made it with fresh lemon juice and honey. At home I occasionally made them some with just a bit of lemon juice and molasses. But honestly the favorite foods of all my goats collectively was maple leaves, they would come running and try to climb my legs whenever I brought them over. I would say the licorice goat treats I got were their absolute favorite thing though, they would do just about anything for them.
So flingin adorable! My mom and aunt often talked about how the hardest part of leaving their country was leaving their 2 goats. I completely understand!
Goats are actually really picky about what they eat. They will only eat food that's clean, and are herbivores. A lot of them have been known to eat the labels and adhesive on cans, but they don't actually eat the can.
I can barely remember what I ate for dinner yesterday, let alone all of my coworkers names - so the fact that he remembers all the different goat names is just wild to me. And super impressive!
Just a few at a time! I find it more fun when I know their names, so I make an effort to learn them all. And then after you learn them all, it's easier to learn any new ones.
Nope, they won't eat everything! I found something our silly goats won't eat. Are you ready for this? You won't believe it, but . . .its GRASS!!! They'll eat the weeds in their 1 acre goat yard but will not touch the good green grass! I've got to drive the lawn mower inside their fence and mow their lawn! Most ridiculous goats EVER!! 😂🤣
I'd suggest dumping any of the milk you collect in the next 24 hours. Stripping bark off apple trees makes for some sour-tasting milk, so I can't imagine what these foods will do to their milk!

I love goats-- especially the young ones jumping round. Goats love raw yam and green vegetables, that is why they quickly tore into that lettuce. My African grandmother had a lot of goats.

I don't think goats will eat anything, but I believe they will TRY to eat anything. I personally watched a goat eating an empty yellow cellophane potato chip bag. My grandfather took it away from him before he swallowed it. The goat was not happy that my grandfather took his snack away.
My little guy LOVED hot cheetoes and sour patch kids. He was a little monster when id bring my lunch in! His favorite animal cracker to eat was the lion.

This was too funny I cannot believe they ate the hot Cheetos and hot peppers and lemons & limes but I do know they love animal crackers. So how many goats do you have now or too many to count?
They handle the heat of the cheetos better than I can. There are grey squirrels where I live and I love to offer them a variety of eats to see what they like. One place I lived the squirrels loved slices of all the sour citrus which I was putting out for some birds during the winter.
I don't think you should feed your goats with all that food . You are not responsible animal owner . What are you looking for to get lot of views on youtube ?
Gosh I love that all the doe's are lining up on the fence while those kids are just chilling out on their little elevated platforms, so cute and so funny. I gotta get myself a wood platform for our goat kids at home
Later in the year I’ll bring corn stalks from my garden. Right now I have an excess of nasturtiums and nipple wort. Might bring those on my next visit.
