The product is not patented but if he would have thought fast and sold for a full payout that didn't leave him with any ownership yet a substantial amount for a good personal setup that made life easier into older age because of the presell without patent and percentage of risk then the payout would have be worth it for peace of mind, the tape is a definite good product it has the strength needed with easy tear which is just direct instead of a brush by

Because one of the ways to fix a cash flow business is to, invest in inventory and reduce manf. costs and there by increase the profit margins. He most probably wants to do that for some time until there is a reasonable profit margin and then sellout for not less than 20mil. The alternate approach would be to see if anything is patentable, if yes, get the IP, and the sell for over 50-70mil, or license it, or workout something with Cuban who could easily get it in the sports industry.
