Will Happer: Radiation transfer in clouds

William Happer is Professor Emeritus at the Ivy League University of Princeton/New Jersey/USA. He specialises in atomic and radiation physics, optics and spectroscopy. He served as a senior director on the National Security Council under Trump.
In his lecture, he deals with atmospheric physics and the effect of greenhouse gases in comparison to other effects. He recalls the work of Planck and Schwarzschild, who even before the First World War gave the answer to the question of whether the Earth's climate can be heated up by air gases. The answer is: no.
