So, in Ukraine, the climate is where all 4 seasons are clearly expressed. In spring, nature wakes up from winter, summer is warm, in autumn nature begins to prepare for winter, and winter is not very cold, but with snow.
@JohnnyFD

Yes, but sometimes it can be very cold. We've been lucky with mild winters lately. But i love having 4 distinct seasons.

@@JohnnyFD It depends what region you live in! If in Kyiv in the north, winters can sometimes be cold, but there are such regions of Ukraine where there may not be snow and it’s quite warm (as for winter)!

"How little things matter when big things matter." BRILLIANT! And it could be interpreted in two ways: 1. (The way you probably intended) Every day things don't matter as much or at all when wars are being fought for life and for freedom. And 2. (The other way to look at it) Every day things DO matter, such as spending time with a friend, a good meal, a good night of sleep, smelling the flowers, etc. when big things, such as wars, life, and death matter. Also, very true about the best camera being the one that's always on you! Also, regarding paying taxes on charitable donations, if you set up a non-profit 501c.3, you won't need to pay taxes, and if you make less than $50K per year for that charity, the filing is very simple. Thanks again for sharing, Johnny! Great video. Stay safe!

When I was younger and at the bar I have told friends who were getting out of hand to knock it off and not to look for help from me if they were doing something stupid. I didn't have anything to prove and cut ties with those who did. And you know all too well that most street or bar fights turn into wrestling matches. Everytime two guys who don't know how to wrestle go at it....the stronger one gets the upper hand.

To help you learn and practice Ukrainian, maybe your friends could have a 10 minute conversation in Ukrainian when you get together. Not just hi, how are you but different topics. I know foreigns like to practice their English, so this is the reverse situation to help you out.

@@JohnnyFDI suggest that you try not speaking English for days at a time. Tell your friends to only speak Ukrainian with you. When you are forced.. much like a young child learning to talk…to express your needs, etc.. you will learn very quickly. Books are not very helpful… but actually listening carefully and learning words as you go about your day will speed things up exponentially. You will truly understand the culture you live in when you know the language 👍

This is actually a very good idea, my cousin from Ukraine learned a bunch of Croatian like this... We weren't being rude, my mother doesn't speak English so she would be speaking to us in Croatian, Russian with my cousin and we would speak English with him because we don't speak Russian or Ukrainian until one day he just said "Speak Croatian to each other infront of me, I can understand you". He picked up a lot in like 3-4 weeks. Even in terms of reading... Scary 🤣

Remember you said it was the same as the Soviet Union threatening the U.S. when it moved into Cuba. Do you still believe that or do you now realize that was Russian propaganda you were repeating? I never said that at the start of the war. Don't put words in my mouth. Before the war started I said that Ukraine should act like Switzerland and stay neutral so that Russia wouldn't have an excuse to feel threatened by NATO. But after Russia actually invaded, everything changed.

Johnny I picked you up when you were doing the "Bald" collaboration. You did not cover 2 things: 1. Why move to Ukraine initially? 2.Where did you grow up?

Sorry, but you're totally wrong about the invented massacre in Kosovo. Raçak is a small town in Kosovo with about 400 inhabitants. At the end of the last century it had become the stronghold of the Kosovar UÇK terrorists, a group fabricated by the imperialists in 1996 to wipe out the remnants of Yugoslavia and subdue the Belgrade government. UÇK's tactic was clearly police and was based on provoking murders to attract repression. Between 1993 and 1998 the group murdered about 200 Serb policemen, 125 Albanian civilians considered "collaborators" and about 120 Serb civilians or those belonging to other minorities. Kosovar terrorism was encouraged and armed by NATO and that, in this way, they broke the ceasefire agreements signed beforehand. The terrorists provoked a brutal crackdown by the Serbian police and army, which launched an operation against Raçak. Official figures speak of about 40 deaths among the civilian population. The stage was very well prepared because today only massacres that can be put on television are of interest. NATO brought a team from the US Associated Press agency to the town to film the findings, gruesome as they were. However, the film showed a practically deserted town. There were very few things to tell. The vast majority of the residents had left the town the previous year. The next morning, the corpses appeared as if by magic. The UÇK mobsters took the journalists and observers to see a mass grave they had found suddenly during the night. They were bodies of Albanian civilians. Of course. Then the official version of NATO was forged, by the hand of William Walker , a guy taken from the blackest sewers of imperialism. He had been a US Army general and then a CIA hitman under the cover of a diplomatic post. He was also a member of the OSCE, so in short he was leading the military aggression against Yugoslavia. Walker prepared to the letter the reports that NATO needed. In front of a crowd of journalists and without having carried out any investigation, he told the media that it was a carnage, going so far as to describe it as a “crime against humanity”, and holding the Serbs solely responsible for the atrocity. Everything was going according to plan. Clinton described the set as "deliberate murders intended to sow terror" and urgently convened the Atlantic Council, made up of the ambassadors of NATO members, which condemned the "massacre". Then the media did not spare some qualifiers that are already worn out by use and abuse: killing, massacre, carnage, genocide, ethnic cleansing... "The Serb troops assaulted the town at dawn and executed 45 civilians in cold blood, all ethnic Albanians ”, El País said then. The Serbs were forever doomed in the eyes and ears of the world. In these cases, proof is never needed. The greater the massacre, the better to judge and condemn. Everything is self-evident. “The deaths in Raçak caused a radical shift in the international attitude towards the Kosovo crisis, which culminated in the Allied bombing of Yugoslavia”, the newspaper Segre recently recalled. An invented massacre led to a real massacre . The commission of inquiry came later. The autopsies were directed by the Finnish Helena Ranta, who at first was not allowed to tell what happened. She wrote a report that her bosses did not accept, so she had to present another one at Walker's dictation, that is, from NATO. A bad conscience must have followed the coroner during the years that she remained silent... Until she began to give interviews, write articles and even books on the subject. But by then her memory had already been almost completely erased. Who cared about that? Who remembers that it was all a lie? The photos of the corpses appeared in the media conveniently pimped out. The most basic concern was to erase the military insignia from the uniforms, so that the victims looked like civilians. The BBC said Serbian police had killed "ordinary people" between the ages of 14 and 99. He also added that the corpses had shots to the head but, according to Ranta, the dead were not victims of a "point-blank" execution, but the consequence of long-distance shots. The Yugoslav police assault on the town led to a pitched battle with the terrorists who had entrenched themselves in the houses. Among the bodies was a 22-year-old girl, the daughter of Sadiq Muyota, commander of a UÇK unit, who had gunpowder residue on her hands. Of all the corpses analyzed by the coroner, 36 had traces of gunpowder on their hands. Only a few could be considered -perhaps- as Albanian civilians. The rest were either UÇK terrorists or Serbian policemen brought in in a flood to raise the death toll, bringing the total to 40, or maybe 45, because the number is not clear. The German Social Democratic government, one of the most responsible for the Balkan War, deceived public opinion by staging non-existent massacres. The first war involving Germany since World War II began with lies. A German television documentary is titled precisely like this: “Es began mit einer Lüge” (It all started with a lie). In the sham trial against Milosevic before the International Tribunal, the Raçak massacre was dropped from the prosecution, to prevent dirty laundry from coming to light. In 2008, Kosovar mafias erected a monument in Raçak in honor of Walker, who made a town famous for a fictional massacre. Every year, the criminal gangs that run the country from Pristina organize an act of remembrance. More than 20 years later, when it is known that there was no such massacre, Wikipedia continues to lie and describe as "deniers" those who maintain that nothing of what NATO wanted to appear then existed.
