Last year, DHGames made the mistake of not making the Idle Heroes Anniversary a Transcendence event. This year, it's looking like they've learned from their mistakes and we should be getting one of the best Idle Heroes events of all time! Let's break down everything you should expect from the event!

@@Wacooo They will boost a player to where getting ONE optimized Destiny hero is easy... then make the next level of endgame PVE need a full 6 optimized heroes to even clear the first stage.

I remember last years anniversary with much disapointment. As someone who is a low/spontainious spender it was not worth going for the event at all. Overall last year there were many good events but they tended to be just random events and not when you anticipated them to be. Crossing my fingers that they make a good event for all tiers of spenders (f2p - whales) for anniversary this year.

I went prettt heavy in on it, because the event was so good and had a high return for spending. So I am not sure what you actually mean. The only thing was that the event lacked any reason to use scrolls, so it really just added 700 scrolls to your account, which was also pretty fantastic

@@kimf.wendel9113 I didn't spend at all and it wasn't worth going in if you didn't spend heavy on it. On average per month I spend about 10-20€ (some months nothing others I stack up on privilege cards). And that was the difference between us and why it felt worth for you and not for me. If I remember correctly it was 2000 HS for an artifact chest as f2p/low spender, and you can hardly call that worth it.

@@ZanZerejin then you didn't read the event. There was plenty of savings and bonuses for spending. You got everything else except sublimation or core chests, and yet I do believe you could get them without spending scrolls.

This is completely untrue. Whales don't care what F2P or budget players get access to. In fact, they want to see you guys do well. And actually they want it more than F2P because they have a lot of wasted cores from when FQV, SFX, and SWJ were meta

You are too early to consider events like this. Just keep saving up, and hope to reach 1800 by Christmas.

I was in the same spot last year, save up for anni and if you can get immediate progress from it, invest. your goal should be to get eloise to 10*, then to e5

worth buying 9 scrolls for 1150 gems each day to anniversary if i have 560 scrolls and 70k gems?

You lack 3-500 scrolls, depending whether the up the scroll give away to 900 this year (following the trend). You can't get that many in 3 weeks for a good price regardless of what you do. So you might aswell skip or spend money. Set yourself up for Christmas and CNY instead, those two events are back to back requiring 3500 scrolls (1880+1880 - 100 give or take) so that is your goal following Anniversary.

Anyone who thought anniversary 2023 was bad is somebody who didn't notice the 700 free scrolls. That's like an extra sub chest by itself, on top of all the other goodies. (And there were a lot of goodies.) Also, what are you saying at 3:15 about treasure? Encapsulated Memories was an anniversary treasure, and so was Finest Hour Recorder. The treasures it gave were by far the best of any event since treasure has been released.

True, Anniversary was absolutely fantastic. Especially because it didn't matter if you had scrolls. It just gave all the good things for gems and money. It was the cheapest Anniversary ever. People are just upset they didn't get many cores or sublimations.

25,000 haven't seen one above that yet. Swap event usually takes up to 25,000 gems (rarely need that many thou), and then skin events take 10,000. We might see an activity event aswell with premium rewards for gems, like the Fenlier in last years event. These typically cost 25,000 gems aswell. So likely 75,000 gems are needed.

Hopefully this will be my second anniversary event, coming from someone who began one month after the 6th anniversary event It feels like DH are transitioning towards the p2w meta right now and use f2p players have to spend a ton more than just 25k gems and 2000 scrolls atp to get less resources than, let's say, 1 year ago But, to be fair, they instead gave us more basic resourced, but i hate that i can't even get a core chest for the past 3 months

I''m not sure what you mean. yes now and then they f up and make a terrible event. but in general they are giving much more stuff than before bc of power creep and whales. one example is how they reduced the price of the exchange for loot drop event.

They’ve been doing a lot of copy paste events the last couple months. This leads me to believe they’ve been working on this years anniversary event to ensure it’s really good this year.

No, they have done that the past 2 years. They recycle events constantly with new names and sprites. And that is okay, as long as the rewards are worth, as then we know the events, we can save up for them, and we can quickly estimate the value.

I'm three weeks into Idle Heroes. I have 10 star Garuda, Sigmund should be 10 star soon, thanks to check-in, and I have 9 star Bleeker, haha.

But the biggest con about trans events are that they are soooo spend heavy with 700 to 800 to max where other events could be 300 to 400 to max for the same rewards
