Will it Run? 1969 Chevy C-30 1 Ton 

Please make more first starts and cold starts. They’re the best! I’d love to see what you do with the gas pedal whenever you start them too.

This ,,is the same year and truck that I made my famous mater look a like trucks out of , I’m on my 3 rd engine and 2 cond rear end, I had to get rid of the small lug nuts right away, ,for what I use my truck ,those lug nuts snapped off the first year, big rig lug stud’s, 1.1/8 socket im in the future going to put disc brakes on all four corners, in on my 2 454 big block, 465 4 speed, Dana Rearend, 12 inch brakes 4 inch wide shoes , and 12 inch clutch, I love my 1969 , Chevy C-30, thanks buddy, keep up the good work thanks BigAl California.

You've got a great base for a restoration - too many people overlook the heavier trucks as restoration candidates. I think they're really cool

Love these old chevys. That was a great find. Once you fix the vacuum leaks, I would change the oil and add 6-8 ounces of SeaFoam to the oil and you’ll be surprised how much this will quiet down the bottom end knocking. OIT ( old Indian trick) I learned many years ago. Works like a charm. I would love to score a find like that. Congratulations my friend.

Ive got a blue 70 just like it. Been sitting for some years now but i bought it from a feed mill (original owner) and drove it 10 or 11 years. Drove it until i messed up the rear axle. I stick a battery in it and start thr engine ever so often.
