This Channel is about Me trying to Start old Equipment , Tractors and Most anything I can find. I do a Channel With My Son Jacob / @dontbewily I hope you enjoy
Man - an F750 Big Job in cutom cab trim, that was full dress for the big trucks! Really doesn't look like it'd be terrible to bring back. Especially having a complete dash!
That ford has a hyd clutch release system. You need to put brake fluid in that master cyl on the firewall. possibly rebuild or replaceit andthe slave cty. Theengine isnot a Y block. Thats most likely a 332 truck engine. It is similar to the MEL engines. It shares the same bellhousing pattern as a FE, Many of those old trucks when the engine expired a Fe was bolted in there
These trucks came with a 338 cubic inch V8. They were a real powerhouse. They ran for years and and had tons of power. In 1958 Ford was making vehicles men would buy and use. Today all they make is plastic shit.
It’s too bad that you probably live down south your videos pop up every once in a while and this truck has to be one that I really like that if it was for sale and nearby me, I would definitely be all over it if I could buy just a truck without the apparatus that is mounted to the back of the chassis I would just want the truck and not those pieces, but I would try to make a deal to where I could incorporate that pitchfork because you can never have too many of those. In recent years, my homestead has been flooded with Ford products I have a 50s Ford jubilee tractor and I’m still looking for other tractors eventually to aid on my Homestead and other Ford equipment like Ford pick ups especially looking for a 29 or 30 model a Ford pick up mostly complete but does not have a bed on the back of it because I have a dump bed that I want to put on one that came with the one that I own currently and I’m turning the one I own currently into a flatbed and I want to build a dump to have as well
Thanks for your 1st video on your new channel. It was interesting and enjoyable Wiley. I am not quite following you on the time factor though. Seemed this one was about as long as the other channel but might be I am not looking at it correctly. That was a big old ford truck at one time with a big old engine. Had a two speed transmission so was meant for heavy work. Sorry it would not run for you but had been sitting a lot of years I believe. Thanks for trying Wiley. Keep up this new channel. Will watch it for you. Thanks Wiley. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Thank you Steve I was going to use this video on the other Channel. I think you will notice a difference after a few videos. I have a plan and I hope you and others like it
It had a key, of course it will start! But that hanging coil wire, that gave me a chuckle! Nice job and man what a happy idle the thing has. Love to see it move if you can get to that clutch!
Hola Will me acabo de suscribir a tu nuevo canal saludos tambien para Jacob, soy venezolano y estoy residenciado en Argentina, soy electricista automotriz y por eso me gustan tus videos, asi que cuenta con otro suscritor, un abrazo
That's wild u just hooked up a couple things and hit with starting fluid and it fired up lol while most people who do this will it start thing will break out the xray machines lol and replace everything just to see if will crank over and start.
223 , 272 , 292 , some of the truck engines had a cross over exhaust pipe , across the front of the engine and hooked into the front of each exhaust manifold . Some times it helps to pump the gas 1 time , about a 1/4 the way down and take your foot off of it and crank . I keep 80/90 gear oil in my oil squirt can , it doesnt dry up as fast as blaster or motor oil .
a Nope not a Y block . Thats a 332 MEL design truck engine. Much better engine. the rocker arms did not stop oiling and the rear mains did not leak. And a 223 is a six cyl engine
@@thecollectoronthecorner7061 Years ago trucks were made for different purposes and had different size engines including 6 cylinder . ( The 332 was available from 1958 - 1960 in Ford cars.) ford made car engines and truck engines and were different sizes to specify car or truck engine > Sometimes it pays to know what your talking about before you open your mouth and remove all doubt of how much you do not know . The way the intake is made , valve cover bolts , exhaust manifolds , location and angle of the distributor tells which engine this is .
@@charlesmccormick4443 I am 73 and certainly dont know everything. However back in the day I actually drove a 750 ford truck tractor with a factory 332 truck engine, they where a lincoln design . however they had steel cranks and where built for torque instead of HP. they also made a 279-302-317 and 368 versions all with that same stroke steel crank. Look at the video notice that the oil fill tube is mounted on the front of the engine block. the 272 -292 & 312 the oil fill tube i Is mounted to the sheet metal valley cover below the intake. I know about the 332 FE pass car engines, In fact I own one that I took out of a 58 ford sta wagon 60 years ago. I also have a 59 352 police interceptor engine. I have several FE's I even have a428. and own a few 292 Yblocks and223sixcylinders. I am not suffering from Dunning Kruger in thisinstance. You can find info on the 332truck engines at the FordTruck enthuasist forum.
