@@LordMucknew to your channel and it's good. I don't mean this in a bad way but do you still have the same opinion about following government advice now that u have hindsight.
I've never trusted governments but AT THE TIME nobody knew what was going to happen and as someone that people often ask advice and guidance from, all I wanted to do (and would again) is in-still calm and order. There was enough panic as it was.
Digging the older classic machines out of the barn and bring them back from the dead I love that type of work done it my self once and been hooked ever since
Hi from Co Kerry Ireland ,great content ,keep up the good work ,clever cutting the 3c starting video at the turn of the key ,can't wait to see what happens.
Totally agree Kurt. I'm not a huge fan of aeroplanes or stuff like that, so guess what! I skip that content and then watch the videos that does interest me. Tractors, diggers, jeeps or whatever. I don't expect you to change your videos. You're doing what interests you. Keep up the good work and look forward to many more videos.
I don't mid what your content is, it is for your sense of humour as much as anything else that I keep coming back. The Leyland 4/98 was a great engine, I had one in a gen set that clocked up something in excess of a hundred thousand hours over a twenty year period, It was not new when it started life on the gen set having come out of a road gritter truck originally. I rebuilt the engine as it had hydro lock due to cavitation on the liners replacing them with chrome plated on the outside to prevent that occurring again using the original pistons, just new rings. I also replaced all the bearings but did not need a regrind on the crank as the truck had only done forty one thousand miles when I got it as a scrapper from the council. One day soon I will have to get another 4/98 just for the love of it.
It’s great to here an honest person that doesn’t care about what the idiots have to say!! I really like your channel and I like all sorts of content!! That is a real cliffhanger! I was hoping to hear the old jcb start
Keep doing what you do. I just found your channel it's probably my favorite. I like it because you take no bull shit and tell what's right and don't worry about who you piss off keep you the good work
This is why I love your channel Lord Muck, the variety, tell it like it is, and especially an empty no fucks bag. Priceless. Keep doing what you enjoy and I will keep enjoying the great content, thanks.
Ahh you had me hooked and then cut it off right at the moment of starting! In all seriousness thanks for this, was meant to be starting a new job in a weeks time but that’s now been delayed. A bit of light entertainment certainly helps the bleak moments. But at least I’m healthy and have a roof over my head!
Back in the early 80's when i was about 6 we lived on a new build housing estate with yet more houses being built, the builders had three of these and one Hymac digging out the foundations and moving bricks etc, happy days!
Thank you for the videos. Most importantly, keep yourself safe. Whatever you don't get to, will still be there when all this is over. Best wishes from the US.
Good evening your Lord ship, have just seen your vid on starting the JCB 3cx and I really did enjoy it even the things that you said at the beginning, as an ex farm worker myself I understand about the subjects that you are doing and that all of these subjects are all inter connected with each other like the JCB that you are working on because without the tractor Mr J c Bamford would not have come up with the loader/excavator for building sites and other applications and so on and so fourth. Please keep your videos coming for as long as possible in this currant situation and I will look forward to the next one on the 3cx to see if it started, plus I am keeping an eye on my neighbours as I have a gentleman next door to me who celebrated his 100th birthday last year and I also pray that my friends are all safe and well and will come through this awful period in outstanding health.
I have never heard of an asshole being referred to as a caramel compass thats great and i just recently found your channel and to me its very interesting to see what machines are in the uk that we dont get over here in Canada
“A basement dwelling self abuser” Perfect. Just perfect! I subscribed simply because I heard you say that. I’m no serious fixer so, I’ll try and keep my trap shut! Cheers from NY state USA aka Quarantine land!
I'd rather you joined in ! That's the whole point - feel free to ask, no matter how 'daft' you think the question is - you'll get sensible answers (maybe a bit of a ribbing 😉) because anyone that trolls or has a go at people for asking questions will get hoofed the fuck out. Where in NY state are you ?
Lord Muck Rochester NY Roughly 500 miles N of NYC. Once known for Kodak Xerox and Bausch and Lomb. Now? Kodak is a joke XRX is trying a hostile takeover of HP and B&L is just a name on a street sign. LOTS of Apple growers lakeside (Lake Ontario) though. Also, massive dairy operations next county down. Nice place to live honestly. JCBs are around but not taken as serious machines for big jobs. At this point, I’m mildly obsessed with England and other brands of equipment from around the world. So thanks for posting. Keep up the great work!
I had a model 3C as a kid. My uncle had one for his ground works company. Loved having to climb in through the window to get in. Was allowed to work the back actor on the odd occasion. Is the only road going vehicle that I nearly got motion sick in when going along with all that rocking back and forth. Still my favourite JCB though.
Just subscribed. Subject matter is great. Really appreciate the real world content. I work for a chemical plant in Texas. Grew up on a farm & have worked on everything from train cars, chemical pumps, computers, boats & any other piece of motorized stuff i could find. Lol. Im interested in anything & everything lmao
I got my hours on an old jcb like her at a concrete plant years ago. She loved the Cosby ina can. Good shit muck, we love yer content here in Canadastan lol
I drove these and previous jcb variations of the 3c. These were heavy enough (about 6 tons) to work hard (quarry work), following versions were too light for serious work, I called the newer versions, throw away Jcb's as they seemed to be kaput in as little as 3 years. Thanks for the memories.
Thing are about the same here too. If everyone will use their head we will pull through this. Was really expecting to hear it fire up. Guess we have to wait for the next video...lol
tut tut, should have totally stripped down and rebuild that cab before getting your long bar out. just kidding, ill be waiting for the next video mucker, stay safe chap
Poor old digger hasn't had much love . I recon it's going to fire straight up . I like your bag think I had one like that once . Good video I loved it keep them coming
I really like your channel buddy I like the different stuff you put up most of all I like how you tell the truth and care about others thank you sir and keep doing what you're doing it is good
