As much as I love snow removal, I’m glad I’m not doing it this year. Don’t get much sleep waiting for the call from the boss. Hopefully you don’t get rain now.

They are calling for 8 inches of snow for today and tonight here in southern Michigan and it is just starting to fall. So i am about to bust out my snowblower too! Have a great weekend and stay warm, temp is spose to drop lilke a rock here. Its 32 right now, very nice

@@PandJsHomesteadAdventure temp conversion is correct . It’s 32 celcius atm and steamy due to flood and storms that’s 89F in your scale. It gets to 47- 48c in late summer here which is 117 118 F...a tad on the warm side...but not hot enough to put the air con on. Only the Vic highland country gets snow same in nsw. Tassy the island at the bottom of Aus gets some snow in the central highlands. Our winter is barely 3 months and not even cold just the odd day at -6 c here. You guys in the states are way colder and have snow...Enjoy your snow it looks so beautiful. ☃️☃️

You look like I do out on the deck!😂 I've been waiting for your suet cake recipe, but it got so cold, snowy and icy here that I had to gerry-rig some suet cake-like food for the birds.😂 I mashed up some butter that we will never use, added some bird seed, peanuts, pepitas, and pecans. I mashed and stirred it up real good and put it out there. I put some in the suet cake cage and some in the ground bird feeders. The birds went crazy!!!! They loved it! After that I looked up some recipes and discovered that people use lard, peanut butter, gelatin etc. for various cakes, logs, balls, etc. I'll probably get some lard tomorrow. I hope you make some cakes soon so I can see your recipe. 😊 Also, I'm wondering if you know how to make some that won't freeze? I noticed that when the birds tipped over one of the trays, the butter froze. I made some more. But I won't be doing that every day. I need a recipe that won't freeze if you know of one. I loved today's video. You guys work so well together!👍👍👍❄🌬☃️❄
Hi Christallin we just made the suet video LOL It will be out this week! I'm sure they enjoyed what you gave them! It's ok if it freezes they will peck at it especially woodpeckers! After we mix our recipe, and place it in containers to form, we put it in the freezer to set. Suet is awesome for the birds in winter, good fats..TY for wanting to try our suet recipe!

Hi Jerry! That snow lasted only three days. Snowed again here a few days ago, and gone again. That was the only day this winter we have plowed or shoveled. Definitely the easiest winter of our lives. We finally got a real dumping of snow yesterday!! What part of NY state are you in? We’re just in Niagara Falls Canada. I am amazed that you can tell the difference between each animal print. I grew up in the country and I still don’t remember lol. This weather is crazy, it seems like we only have snow that lasts for 24 hours or if even that!
Hi Kristin! Ya winter has definitely been weird this year! We live between Rochester and Syracuse very close to Lake Ontario. We are neighbors! LOL I grew up in Buffalo. We love animal tracks!
