Thanks for watching the video. Ayamaya builds a great tent, this particular tent is very well-built and has a ton of room in it. I especially love the porch where you can sit out of the sun or rain and still feel like your outdoors. Thanks again for watching the video and HAPPY CAMPING!
Thanks for watching the video. The Ayamaya tunnel tent really is a great tent for the mom ey, and I didn't even have to seam seal or waterproof the tent. I highly recommend it. Thanks again and HAPPY CAMPING!
I bought the same tent last summer for motorcycle camping. It's a great tent for the money. And had a lot of room for the pack size. Only issue I had was the cheap stakes. But I carry extra so it wasn't a problem. Good luck with yours and your camping.
Thanks for watching my video Robert. Yes I had a problem with the stakes as well so I switched them out to a ground hog style stake, I’m much happier with that. Thanks again and happy camping…😀
Welcome aboard Crow, thanks for watching my video. I just started bike packing about a year ago and I’m just loving it. Especially with my E bike. Looking forward to bike packing my way up the Florida Keys in the next couple of months.
Thanks for watching my video Christian. Yes I love the color. The key to setting up a tunnel style tent is to stake it down at the rear pull it taunt and stake down the front then it pretty much stays in place while you set the rest of the tent up. Set up is not to difficult once you’ve done it a few times. Thanks again and “happy camping!”
Hi. Great video! Could you give some feedback on heat, summer, ventilation? I Wish the back door zipped open or something, the lack of ventilation feels like this tent will become a sauna
Thanks for watching my video. I actually used the tent in Florida last year, and I really didn’t have a problem being to hot inside, and not much condensation either. But I do remember it was quite breezy when I camp in it. Again thanks for watching my video…😁
I was looking at a Coleman Carlsbad or an Evanston when I saw this Ayamaya bike tent. I would like a vestibule, but I was a bit put off by the low price. But it looks pretty good as you do it. I've not done much camping in the last twenty-five years, and I am now an old guy thinking about fishing and camping my way across Kansas this coming summer. I am curious to see how the heater works with a double layer tent, as right now, I'm thinking about cold. But, there will eventually be heat and bugs, so keep it up and I'll keep watching.
Wish they would have done full fabic door on the sleeping area with half mesh instead of always open , then you could leave it in porch mode but still have privacy if needed , other then that looks like a great tent for moto camping , ive been looking at one for a while ...
Thanks for watching my video. I actually like the fact it had the half mesh door. If it didn’t I’d be afraid it would get hot and stuffy on a warmer day. I suppose you could make a curtain that you could Velcro to the interior door to give you privacy. Thanks again for watching my video…😁
Thanks for watching the video. I'm pretty sure a Can-Am Ryker will not fit in the vestibule. It barely fits my bicycle laying it down. There are bigger tents out there like the Wolf Walker here is a link: amzn.to/3PxyvgM that are designed to fit motorcycles but I'm not sure you could fit a trike-style cycle in those either. Thanks again for watching the video and happy camping!
Thanks for watching my video. It doesn't come with poles, I bought them. They are the OneTigris lightweight tent poles from Amazon. They cost about $30.00 for the pair. I'll attach a link to my Amazon affiliate page so you see which ones I'm talking about. Here is the link: sites.google.com/view/gbacheradventurechronicles/amazon-affiliate-page Those poles work really welI and are pretty heavy duty. Thanks again for watching the video and HAPPY CAMPING…😁
Nice review but you advertise it as a bike packing tent but never pack it on a bike or even fit a bike inside of it. I doubt a bike rolls in there unless its a short kids bike. The size of the folded tent is huge. What bike would carry that? Maybe if you had no other gear. Ventilation looks good for cool weather but looks like youd be very uncomfortable in hot weather.
Thanks for watching my video. I made a video using the Ayamaya tent as a bikepacking tent in Florida last winter. Here is the link to the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-arLIa28DHQg.html You can put a full-size bike in the tent, you just have to lay it down inside the porch area. I used a waterproof storage bag and panniers to carry my camping gear including the tent. It worked great. Again thanks for watching my video.
