It was so terribly sweet when Louis posted his letter and ran back to get his dad’s hand. Obviously under strict instructions for the night and ready to prove he is big enough to attend events now. Flawless.

I mean she’s cool but she got her position literally by wearing a see through dress and marrying the future king. Role models should be people who have achievements not tied to the men they married. Michelle Obama is another person who is feted as a role model due to marrying the right guy. Hilary Clinton is a slightly better role model because at least she was Secretary of State and a Senator, though those roles were given to her by virtue of her marrying Bill Clinton. Actual role models should be self made women such as Oprah and even Sarah Palin who became governor without using her marriage credentials.

There was no love in marriages. Now the Queen engages in work,and has a super full schedule. Well,Catherine and William have a super packed schedule.

Yes, I agree. I also notice how when she’s speaking with anyone, regardless of rank, she turns her entire body to face them, giving them her full attention. The Queen Mum treated people a lot like that too. As the recipient of such manners, it’s wonderful. Her parents certainly taught her beautifully. My guess is the ‘beautiful manners were likely taught by her Mother, Carol Middleton. She did a remarkable job. I see Catherine teaching her own children as well. It’s so important yet few have good manners these days. I was always taught, ‘Good Manners, though FREE, are Priceless’ while ‘a Lack of Good Manners can COST a Fortune’. I’ve found this to be true throughout my lifetime. I taught my children the same. Princess Catherine has beautiful manners! ❤

I’m sure she’s also a lovely & gracious hostess at their home. I can’t imagine her being anything but warm & welcoming. Carol & Michael Middleton certainly raised 3 wonderful children to become amazing adults. Their family is picture perfect. Beautiful.
The Princess of Wales is the jewel in our crown for the British, absolutely stunning, and she has the most beautiful personality. So proud she represents this country, her genuine warmth and interest in people shows what a true empath she is, and William is the same. Presidents and country rulers come and go, but the RF is unique and so are our traditions.

It was a lovely evening. Sadly, some members of the Royal Family were absent but somethings never change. I was a little surprised the entire Tindall Family wasn’t there. I think the children would’ve enjoyed the evening.
She and William always make an effort to acknowledge everyone in their presence. If they're talking to someone in a lineup, they try to include people to the left and right. If they're walking on one side of the room, they make sure to wave to those on the opposite side. Just a beautiful, respectful family ❤

We enjoy watching the parents do such a good job parenting those children as a solid team. Between William or Kate, they always gave little assurances, touches, smiles etc to their children. And they both kept eyes on them during the candle lighting procession. Typical hands on loving parents. It is wonderful to see and will do well for the children as they grow up. Correction...I now understand that the letters the children posted were to children in the community who were dealing with sickness and other challenges during the holiday season. What a lovely gesture, and I'm sure the children who receive the cards will feel so special being remembered in that way. We never get to see the annual concert in the U.S., but I hope we get a chance to see this magical event this year.
Princess Kate is SO humble, extremely elegant, beautiful, graceful. It was so good of her to greet and converse with all the children. The best part was ... She didn't stand when talking with the kids who were seated. She is so wonderful with children. She will make the best Queen, far much better than Charles wife. Princess Kate definitely has made her late mum in law Princess Diana extremely proud. I miss Princess Diana so much. To Prince William and Princess Kate, a blessed and happy Christmas to you and your children.
