I'm eating my lunch alone while I'm viewing this, and I realised that I am used to being alone for years now. I always want to project that I'm a strong woman and I don't need anyone who will only end up hurting me again, but to be honest, I miss being in love. #1 - I’ve been healing from a toxic relationship. He couldn’t commit to me and wouldn’t make me a priority. He also sadly has some serious addiction problems, and I was shocked when you mentioned that. It’s been a roller coaster fighting for him, but I’ve only caused myself more heartache by trying to stay in this connection when I know it’s time to leave. I have so much love to give, but I can’t blame him for struggling with his emotions and not being able to accept it. I'm going through something like this. May be my pain is similar to yours. I invested 6 months of my life over a man who didn't even love me back. I literally pulled him out of his depressive state and encouraged him to step out in the world. I shared my life , my vulnerability, my deepest fears to him. I spent so many nights over him. Group 2. It’s my twin flame. I tried cord cutting awhile back, I prayed for God to take him away from my heart and mind if he’s not meant to be, I stopped all the communication with him, I asked him to stay away until he’s ready to take me more seriously, I tried everything to get released from the bondages.. but nah, he wasn’t having it! Patty B nah I know who narcissist is and he isn’t the one. He has some past trauma, both from childhood and previous relationship where he was cheated on. Plus current financial difficulties that makes him feel like he’s not man enough etc but I see him improving and he’s been reflecting on his behaviour (we both admitted that we both have made mistakes) which narcissist would never do. We all have some sort of narcissistic tendencies but he’s def not a narcissist. He’s just lost and need therapy which he agreed to go to. My son’s father however is a narcissist and it’s really ugly

#2. It resonates. Disappointment and heartbreak started very early in my life and it happened too many times. Unfortunately, I don't know any other way of experiencing relationships.I'm trying to find a reason and a cure (what do I need to change about myself). I already told myself I am done letting me feel heartbroken by people because, at this point, it's just more of the same and there has to be a reason. Something I'm not getting right. I decided that If it happens again I am not wasting my time on feeling sorry, just take it as one more and simply move on knowing it was not good enough for me. So I picked group one and was almost not about to watch this video because I am in a great connection with someone long distance, low and behold this hit the nail in the head for me. I always question and doubt intentions and think I’m not good enough and someone has to be lying and pulling a fast one to use me. I’ve been burned very bad in the past and I’ve been completely shut off for 5 years...I couldn’t bare going through anything like that again and my self worth and esteem was completely levelled. I still have days I struggle but the connection I have now I feel like it was fated as he does because we met so innocently and wasn’t expecting it to turn into what it has.
