Love all the men from Moonshiners... They go a long way to honor each other and their heritage. I have been a fan of the show for years and have always admired how they have each others back no matter what....✌🏼🗽

@@jeremy-ez6nd anything over 196 proof will turn back to 196 with atmospheric pressure.. the only way to get past that is with a vacume still but when you take it off the vacume it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and dilutes down to 196.. read a book

i feel like theres 2 parts to "the time"... 1) people just drank more then today, the amount of drinks AND the mostly alcohol in the drinks like they were just spirit w/ minimal mixers if that. 2) idk what time peorid youre refering to but for many years from late 1800s - early 1900s cocaine was legal at drug stores but was sold to anyone and had a huge black market... EVERYONE was tooting bumps left and right. you mix those things and boom you have the roaring 20s haha

Ruin the likker, and destroy you're keef. Better take that keef and make some hash out of it.. you will be happier in the long run.
@djhart25
@djhart25 2 года назад
like someone else said.. you'd be better off saving your keef for other uses. My roomates and I used to buy a bottle of grain alcohol at the start of the semester, and we'd throw all our stems, shake, and the occasional bud in it for the next few months, then strain and enjoy some 'green dragon' at the end of each semester

How’d he get 110-115 proof if they started with 100 proof..?
@Nlmtella
@Nlmtella 2 года назад
What leaves the still is higher proof. That's the whole point of distillation is vaporizing the ethanol of then condensing it to raise the proof. Once you get to the end of the run it'll be far lower proof because much of the ethanol will have boiled off. So they select what tastes best, blend it and then will even temper it down with just pure water because often the tastiest spirits will be too "hot"/high in alcohol. Hope that helps.

My favorite thing about gin. It ain't unpleasant. A gin and tonic is a nice bitter little kick that other cocktails miss out on, because it compliments the alcohol instead of trying to cover it up.
