@@akanecco_2323 merami could set 1.4+ pp scores if he tried. He choked sidetracked day DT 11* (1.6k if FC iirc lol) and others scores too. But yeah, he said he's not going for mou ii kai FC and he barely play the game, so it's not gonna happen.
@@CunnyLover727 If you're talented at something and have the ability to push yourself towards a skill but not doing it, I would say you don't have the skill, even if you have the ability to get it. That's what puts mrekk apart from your Vaxei's, Merami's, Whitecats and other really talented players. Mrekk tries. Even if he doesn't look like it, I can bet that he's sweating his ass off practicing to make the pp difference as large as he can. Merami doesn't try. Whitecat stopped trying a while ago. Vaxei never tried, he preferred tourneys and even recently just ghosted osu. I could list others but you get my point. It doesn't MATTER that these other players are capable of doing as good or even better than mrekk, because they're not, and until they start putting in the effort, they'll continue to not. I'm not trying to put them down but it pisses me off when people put down a talented person who's sweat their ass off and tried as hard as they did to get somewhere by comparing them to somebody who could "do better if they tried"

I recently learned that using the current pp system Shige would'"ve been #1 ranking from 2010 to mid 2018 or even 2019, only losing it for a couple months in 2015 lmao Mrekk could do the same in the 2020s tbh, he's the only player able to follow or even surpass this legacy

I don't think he had a 3k pp lead in 2013, it was most likely around like 2000 or 2500, but if we're comparing that to the current amount of pp today, that'd be like Mrekk having a 4k pp lead If I wasn't a lazy motherfucker I'd find all data we have from osu (the same ones that the guy who made the "biggest pp each month" video used) and would recalculate the top 10 since 2007 using the current pp system, (in the same style as the 2014-2018 video) it'd be kinda hard to find all old pre-2011 cookiezi scores since they're all wiped and barely archived, but it's probably not impossible to make something at least somewhat accurate, but man that sounds like something I'd take years to do, so maybe someone reading this can find the motivation to do it

mrekk is a sight to behold... He's branching into so many skillsets now too... Mf can snipe stream players at their own game, and I'm sure his reading is quite insane too. But some guy 1-2 years down the line will randomly come out of nowhere and do the impossible and take mrekk's #1, i just know it xD
only thing is though mrekk is the only #1 player to play EVERY single skillset and be the very best or at least top 3-5 in terms of farming each skillset in this game no matter what it is. Every other #1 player couldn't farm EVERY skillset like mrekk so thats just what sets him apart.

years ago we thought united HDHR were peak gameplay, and everytime someone pops off, like cookiezi, whitecat, vaxei, we still thinks it is the peak But mrekk, i cant even say he is peak gameplay, cuz he still getting even better, at the point he has more 1 thousands than everyone elses 1 thousand combined (and he doesnt even farm) he will be rank 1 for fcking years, he created one of the biggest skill gaps between #1 and #2 he can play absolutely anything, and do incredible and of course, someday, some random guy will pop off just like mrekk and get insanely crazy at the game and maybe take mrekk #1 if mrekk starts spending less time on osu
The thing that separates everyone from his is that he reached 1st while he was in middle school. Dude makes money since he was 14. He doesn't even need to study at school, plus all the free time he has vs the other top players that are 18 and up with college, uni, army etc. Dude has all the time in his hands. Even if someone comes close he will just take it back

@@jigokunobannin9190 not for multiple 1.5k plays plus many more from 1.2-1.3, I mean think about it, we've been stuck on 1.2k for 2 years now, and if nothing changes, mrekk will stay the only person who is able to set plays of that caliber for another year or so (not counting next rework which buffs pp)
Look, I am not a mrekk hater or anything but you guys pretty much treat him as he is the only player in osu. Bro is cracked out of his mind and i don't doubt that he could hold no.1 for at least 2 years(maybe 3) but there are a lot of other players that exist. Like who knows in a couple of months time, an already well established player might have a massive popoff which can rival him. What is a lot more likely to happen however is that an relatively new/unknown player ascends to godhood and starts wrecking everybody. Never underestimate osu players.

i dont wanna jynx it, i saw some random kind in a multi today, he got 5 digit in 2months of joining, idk what his username was. He had a 300pp play and hes 85k. Thought he was sus, but couldn't find anything against him
someday there will be the osu singularity, the last no.1 player, when someone has set so many high pp scores that the game looses popularity before someone new takes no.1... i wonder when that will be
Also chicony appears but nothing will change, Mrekk almost have all 1ks in the top 100 (like 50 1k, 30 1.1k, 12 1.2k and 2 1.3k) and he's still improving like crazy
If you don't have a twitch account I strongly recommend making one, tuning into mrekks stream and putting on notifications for him because he's been going hard recently

To be fair cookiezi lasted way too long as the guy, he was choking 1000+ pp plays at a time when 700 was a big accomplishment, I think that's why he's still called the greatest OSU player of all time
cookiezi was the best player in the game for literally 9 years and people still can't beat his best scores(Made of fire, Daisuke, FD4D, furioso melodia)
@@itzartic3251 no he wouldn't lmao the lower your top performance plays goes down the lower it will be calculated into pp let's say your top plays are just all 1.1k and if you set a 1k pp and it was in the very bottom you'd only get 1% of that 1k pp that means you'd only get 10pp for that 1k pp score that you just set now just imagine that at 800pp it would be even less so it wouldn't matter how much pp your top performances are the lower it is on your top performance the lower pp it will give
I think there's still a little chance that someone can beat mrekk now but If mrekk will be learn better acc than now + more fast bpm DT or learn HDHR techinic like cookiezi , No one will beat him then, Absolutely
@@Tomorinao125 and mrekk also is the only one to have reached 22k pp in std and he'll probably reach 23k pp too (maybe even before someone else reach 20k pp) since he'll be less than 150 pp away from 23k after the rework
