The Seville is 33 years old and looks really good. Can you imagine when the car was new, a 33 year old Caddy would've been a 57!! Mobster Wrench Mike looks good in the car. If you want to reduce truck sag, I use a reese anti sway hitch with the 2 bars that chain up to the trailer side A points along with the bar that clips to the baby ball points. Camping world has them for I think 500 and its worth every penny for safety. I chain up with the trailer lifted level then lower it. It made a big difference towing a big trailer with my gmc 1500 and huge difference in sway over 25 mph. I also use the tekonsha prodigy 2 for the brake force ball it has that detects hard stops. Those 2 things prevent trailer fishtail and uncontrolled brake loss. I do not tow heavy A arm trailers without those 2

Looks like you need the Jeep moved back centered on the axles to distribute the weight off the hitch

Monkeywrench Mike has an interesting lane pattern I noticed while he was driving the Caddy, he Army steers, left right left right, back and forth line to line! I bet he never noticed it until he was caught on time lapse video. Love the Caddy, I had a 92 Sedan DeVille. I hated that engine, lethargic at best! Half ton vs 3/4 ton trucks will give you bigger brakes and more efficient cooling system. People are way to preoccupied in their cars to pay attention to traffic. Get a great pair of high intensity driving lights, leave them on when towing. You're playing into their hands by racing someone while towing. Nobody wins in a pissing contest! You both get wet!

It is a very nice looking car. Not many left and I don't think they were as popular as the 76 to 79 or even the 80 to 85. I love them all. Good luck with it. I agree with you about people's driving. I find it fascinating about all the so called " experts" in the comments that tell you that " you should do this or that" . You do what is best for you.

You don't need a air lift suspension for your truck just get an equalize a hitch. It's spreads the weight out over the entire frame it will totally fix your problem

The trailer is not level. I don't know what's going on with your eyeballs but it's obvious that the back end is much higher. You could probably put the Jeep another foot backwards and take some of the weight off of the tongue.

Randy, I deal with people doing the exact same thing to me but, I'm in a semi. I travel through that area on a weekly basis, in fact, the last drop for me is in Springfield, Mo. Those Sevilles were beauties I ones an '87 in the same color passed it on to my dad and purchased a '91 in Rosewood metallic they were both excellent cars!

I hope this makes you feel better. I bought a brand new 2014 RAM 2500 with the 6.4 hemi with factory Air ride. With a twenty foot v nose trailer All aluminum and a full dressed Harley and a Honda gold wing I got six miles to the gallon going from Pittsburgh to putting Bay Ohio and back.

The caddy should have cruise. There should be a button on the end of the turn signal stalk? Pretty sure since that was GMs style of cruise. I have a 79 truck and it has that style of cruise.

I grew up in Arkansas then lived out West Ca/AZ for 30 years we've been in Oklahoma since 2009 and I'm still getting use to the drivers here.

You're correct, people drive like crap. They don't merge effectively. They don't signal. They don't know how to use cruise control. They fail to complete a pass and, when they do pass, they cut you off short. They speed up when you are passing them.. They ride in the left lane. They pay attention to anything other than what they should be. I got my first driving job when I was 18. I'm now 53 and still driving for a living. I'm not perfect, but I try not to do any of those things above.

me personally i prefer diesl over gas and i hate the guys that roll coal they ruin it for all of us also almost all cummins get around 10 towing there like a bbc or ford the ps and duurmax are much more fuel effecient towing and not towing i think you shouldve hot the ram 2500 with the hemi since you like rams and yeah ya definitely need an airbag kit on the ram trx have a happy new year randy

Honestly it seems people forgetting how to driver is global phenomenon over here in the UK I always drive on motorway on cruise control so my speed is steady I go to overtake someone and the moment I'm about to pass them they speed off and undertake me only for me to catch up to them a mile down the line and cycle repeats not mention others who go to overtake me but instead chose to sit on blind spot for while before doing so

if you find a solution to fix the smog pump diverter valve. Let me know my grandmother’s car has the same problem and they don’t make the valve anymore from what i have been told personally i would love to just delete the system and if there is a way to trick the system to keep the light off that someone knows please let me know thanks

I hate to say it. But that's just how people drive these days. I'm in Delaware and people drive like they own the roads here. 80% don't know how to use a stop sign or turn signals. The turn signal thing could be because of a blinker fluid shortage though. That seems to happen alot.
