Yes. The same Farage who bangs on ad nauseum about the so-called "will of the people", but completely supported Donald Trump becoming president despite more people having voted for Hillary Clinton. He says he wants Proportional Representation (the one thing I thought he and I had in common), but then he manipulates the 2019 election, by where he does and doesn't put candidates, in a deliberate attempt to make the result even less proportional than it would already have been with FPTP.
It is bizarre that there are any people who still don't understand that fact. Tories have scapegoated immigrants and racists bought into it because it served their agenda.
@@obscurum6 A lot of people done seem to understand the damage that 14 years of austerity has done, which was made worse by brexit. The current prison crisis (that actually started 10 months before Starmer became PM) is a direct result of spending cuts to every single department in the legal system The same goes for housing, public schools and the NHS.
Nigel Garbage will do for Clacton what he did for the UK fishing industry........... And so far Lord Lucan has been seen in Clacton more times than Nigel!
There is only one thing good about Farage being the MP for Clacton and it's watching him getting visibly irritated by journalists who keep on asking him why he isn't in Clacton, I for one hope more journalists do this especially when he's trying to grift in the US.
He’s pulling a Pete Buttigieg by being everywhere else instead of where he’s supposed to be, much to the chagrin of that one town in the American Midwest where the train carrying dangerous chemicals derailed and the goofballs responding to that mess decided to make things much worse by setting the chemicals on fire and letting them get into the atmosphere as a result.
Not at all. We voted for controlled immigration, not no immigration. Our politicians are globalists, and none of them wanted to implement the will of the majority. It has zero to do with Brexit. It’s our government’s will, and there is none.
Farage - grifter. The people of Clacton will get the same level of representation that those who voted Farage into the EU Parliament got - practically none.
He only entered the EU politics/parliament to cause trouble (When he did show up) and collect his salary. He'll do the very same in the UK parliament. In fairness, the people of Clacton knew this, if they didn't, they should stay away from the ballot box in future
Farage earns more money for spouting his verbal rubbish on GB News than he makes as an MP in Westminster. There should be a rule forbidding MPs from taking on second and third jobs outside of parliament as they are not representing their constituents properly while working these side hustles outside of Westminster. It's a case of greedy politicians with their snouts in the money trough getting richer and becoming even bigger fat cats at the expense of others.
Many professional jobs have a trial period after the job offer. If a candidate can't or won't do the job, and skives ALOT, then they are shown the door. Reform is a private company not a political party, so private sector rules apply surely ?
@@snipelite94there are certain jobs that need a certain number of hours to keep qualified. Doctors, nurses etc should be allowed to do those hours. Or would you say the MP who was a nurse should never told the NHS to F off during the pandemic. Tw@
I used to live near Clacton as a kid Cordy's was a real treat I'm now a 44 years old Irishman living in Ireland Even separated by so much time and distance I feel an acute embarrassment for Clacton They stood be ashamed of themselves for voting in this nasty piece of work
I live in hope to see a united Ireland. At 52, I’ve got 20-25 years to hope. I lived in Trump country as a child. Leaving was the best thing I did. Good luck from Leeds
Nigel has no real ideas and no intention of sticking round Clackton, as the first guy said in this clip it was/is a springboard to what he thinks are bigger things. When he was an MEP he attended just one Committee meeting to register for pay purposes and then for four years never attended, The UK has a points system for skilled immigration and the unskilled migrants are economic migrants leaving failed states in the third world and are not just a UK issue. France takes in twice the number of such migrants per year. That woman who talked of France not stopping migrants has no understanding of the facts. It’s well known that France stops two thirds and that’s the likely maximum. France should end the Le Touquet Agreement whereby it does stop migrants entering boats and just let as many as want to get on the boats and sail to the UK. Watch that woman squeal then.
I believe the sales of snake oil have gone through the roof in Clacton and Nij' Al Fahrahj is raking it in. However this video gives me hope, because there are Clacton residents who have seen through his lies and obfuscation.
Which ones.. Yet the PM, aka 2TK, talks about communities... Thus creating division! The UK doesn't need communities they need law ability citizens who integrate!
@@TheJon2442 I mean at least he is in the country and actually attending Parliament, unlike "Trumps best friend" who i think has been in parliament and voted maybe twice since he was brought in... he will put up an absolute shit show just like he did as an MEP, worst attendance on record I think, and you believe this man will fight for your views when he barely turns up to debate? the floor of public opinion is more his goal not actually helping.
But they all love dear old Nigel, he is the saint who walks amongst us, and nothing you can say or do will alter their worship of this saintly man, blessings be upon him.
Yes he ruddy well does..Clacton is in Clactonshire which is somewhere outside London near Wales..And..And..If things carry on going as they are..Then..Then I’m afraid it will soon be called Clactonstan.!..Oh yes and thanks to Brexit it’s called Clacton again instead of Le-Clacton where the population was made to eat garlic and baguettes..As it was under the E.U communist, galactic empire regime.!.Also it’s ALL Starmer’s fault after just over two months of he’s socialist,Nazi,Mongolian,Imperial Roman rule.!.So it’s time we British gather once again in our hillforts and stop the boats coming over from Gaul.!.Or be taken over by Muslim,Buddhist,Dalek’s from the ice planet of Hoth..😡😤😡😤😡🤯
The last interviewee- Farage has never grown up with a disadvantage and- "you can get ahead even if you are a racist"- was he being ironically humorous or is he learning disabled?
Clacton is Farages foot into the door of commons, I don't think he'll enjoy the thought of doing any dirty work such as local issues in his chosen area.
Clacton has some very slow people. Why would anyone go there for a holiday now that we've had a chance to see what a shitehole it is? If it didn't have a reputation for discharging raw sewage into the environment, it does now. Crapton, more like.
Every comment about a failing sea side town is relevant and concerning for both residents of small business owners. However, blaming all their woes on a vulnerable minority has never proven to work and fix those problems. All this shows is that race baiting gets the person doing it ahead especially if you’re a sociopath who has no conscience for the damage that is being done to further your career and bank balance. Sad to see so many people putting everything they believe in in a grifter, they will eventually learn their mistake, but will not have a revelation that they were wrong, because another grifter will come along and do exactly the same thing again and these ‘fool’ who will vote on mass for them again. At the end of the day they get what they deserve at a local level. Sadly though because nothing will dramatically change for them due to the dud they have picked to fight their corner will only confirm in their minds that the boat loads of brown skinned men is actually the problem all along😢 Thanks Liz, once again a thoughtful and informative video. Wishing you well during is glorious summer weather (between the downpours😊) ❤
I feel sorry for the good people of Clacton! They could have voted for someone genuinely interested in improving their lot! Instead they fell for the lies of the snake oil salesman! He has no interest in Clacton unless he can grift himself a load or cash!
The problem is that the penny will never drop. People will keep voting him in because he is a “public figure”. It is heartbreaking that the poorest are so desperate for change - and no-one else delivers it effectively - that they continue to think that this type of person is the solution. Well… at least he promoted Clacton on the world stage 😂
play silly games, win stupid prizes. with all the evidence of Farage ut there, if you still overwhelmingly chose to vote him in, then you deserve everything he brings.
@@obscurum6 Did I miss something? I didn't hear anything remotely racist in what he said; indeed he was voicing the opinion shared by many of us that immigration isn't the problem at all. Was it his appearance and accent that made you assume he must be a racist?
Sharon, Do you not understand the "Local" elections and General elections, where you select your "Parliamentary Representative", are not the same things. Mr Farage cannot be voted out at the next local elections. In any case it is only the voters in Clacton have any say in who their Parliamentary Representative is going to be.
The guy in white at 0:23 was on the ball. Unfortunately Grifter Nigel is not going to do anything - he can't even be bothered to reply to his constituents! True Brit ... LOL! The only reason he stood in Clacton is because it was one of the most safest seat possible for him!
You can't argue with bigotry. They're not smart enough to work out that Garáge won't do anything for Clacton or the immigration "problem". Which is a direct consequence of Brexit. Thanks Nige.
I love that the measure of how well the country is doing is based on how many empty shops there are on the high street 😂 The people who think these things are the same people who promptly jump onto Amazon to save money - what do they think will happen to the highstreet?!?? And let’s not get started on greedy landlords charging too much for shop space, exorbitant rates, and excessive parking fees - how could the highstreet possibly survive against all that?
Clacton is always been great irrespective of who our MP is , cannot do any less than our previous MP. Still one of the best seaside resorts in the country.
I wonder what that woman thought when she heard the true cost of the Rwanda scheme. Can she provide details of people coming here and getting something for nothing?
He's never in the country never mind Clacton. If Clacton is looking for regeneration it should host historical re-enactment events. I for one would consider visiting for a re-staging of the 1960's Mods v Rockers beachfront battles. Would knock spots off boring old "Sealed Knot Society" & their Roundheads v Cavaliers set pieces.
Strange, the first guy stated “we are _now_ talking about immigration…”, but Faridge and his reform *company* MP’s state “we need to talk about immigration”!? Which is it? I’m just asking questions…
Lets see if he can hold the seat, like he has the power to change that area will he do it? I hope the people demand it because if you're that mouthy you gotta show some real talent once you jave the power and he has the power
Most countries, France included are concerned about who is coming into their country, not so much concerned about who is leaving. Under the Dublin accord UK could have returned asylum seekers to first safe country. When UK broke the chains of European Union it also left the Dublin accord. Opps
CLACTON IS LIKE BLACKPOOL ITS SUCCUMB TO SPAIN ETC HOT PLACES, FARAGE COULD REOPEN BUTLINS LOL, JOKIN IF COURSE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES THERE AS A LAD, BUT I WILL BE VERY SURPRISED IF FARAIGE GETS TONS OF INVESTMENT IN CLACTON
