A 51 year old woman did a full cardio singing almost pitch perfect for 3 minutes straight. Eleni, Chanel, Noa... You have a serious competition if she goes to Malmö 😂
@@Seb_Kozak We don't, but we also don't expect them to do 3 minutes of full on dancing while still keeping perfect vocals. That's extremly hard to do in 20's and 30's and she did it at 50
this song actually doesn’t have a single word in polish, She used praslavic motovation chants and it’s a beuatifull touch to show our pagan culture from the very very old times
@@expectopatronuum452 I hate how the person who played the fluit was off key multiple times, but other than that I think it's safe to say that "Sama" was indeed a piece of art and one of Poland's best entries ever.
Justyna is one of the best voice in Poland. She always had this mystic vibe in her voice. Not every song is a masterpiece, but she's still kinda magical.
Info delivery: - there is a lot of mess within polish broadcaster - TVP after very recent political changes - it’s very improbable that there will be a national selection this year - rather last minute internal pick - Justyna has already participated in Eurovision 29 years ago as a Polish representative (would be a record of an artist coming back after longest break) - the producers of Witcher Tarohoro are the same people that are behind Polish Junior Eurovision entries like Wiki Gabor - Superhero
@@sarahenchanted If Justina would be chosen by TVP - break time will be 28y 11m 24d/26d (1st/2nd SF '24) Anna Vissi has break between 1982 and 2006 is 24y 0m 26d (and if counted 1st and last participation 1980-2006 is 26y 1m 1d)
They should send her because .. this would easy with the songs we have selected and the songs I have seen in the national selection .. this is a top 5 song for the finals of esc
If she performs like that at Eurovision she could win. I definitely prefer this over the over songs we have announced including every song from every national selection announced too
@@sebvil9476 name is not everything... let's wait for song and performance Besides - he didn't say she would win for sure, but she would obviously be one of strong contenders for this.
@@KyleClarke-pj4dpThis song has absolutely no chance of winning. It’s messy and outdated and maybe could have won in 2006, but in 2024 it will get destroyed by the jury. It could do well with the televote but not enough to win.
Stage was in Zakopane. Due to certain changes in the leadership in Polish National TV broadcaster, some technicians were working and were added last minute. It was NY's Eve in the mountain city of Zakopane. Justyna Steczkowska is known for many folk/experimental music and her 4 octave scale. She's on the Polish music scene for 25+ years and has done many interesting projects in the past decade. The best idea of what she's capable on live scene is to see her Alkimja performances at the 4 Cultures Dialogue Festival which also became her album as well, where she sang songs inspired by Jewish culture extremely present in Poland prior to WWII. She performs live almost every time making alterations to songs to ensure people know she's singing live. She comes from a musically educated family - her sister is also known in the country. I highly recommend checkign her repertoire.
Happy new year to everyone and in the uk time I have Christmas in December so basically congrats to justyna tarohoro and it’s a strong Ballard and nice and disco party hit and I really love is flipping hair and that’s the highlight what I really love is specially hair in faces and when they move their movements and this is one of my favourite one from Geoff
The stage was in Zakopane for our New Years Eve Concert. - This song makes me feel so proud when I hear it. #JustynaforEurovisionAgain. She did very well in 1995.
I absolutely love Justyna's song this year and the best part is this mix of something new with similarities to her ESC 1995 entry (one of the best songs of eurovision imo) with that flute parts and folk references
If poland does send her. It will do absolute justice after the disastrous rigging by the TVP which people wanted jann. So lets hope she makes it to the final.
Hey Noosh, I've got two more propositions as potential Polish entries for ESC 2024, first was out just today, it's Luna with song The Tower, another one is Mr Narcissus with song Warrior (there's a live version of this one), think they're both worth making a reaction, actually you could do both in one go and compare which one you like more 😉 warm regards from your biggest Polish fan!!
Right now Poland has weird political situation, so we may not participate at all. But sending Justyna is very easy solution, because they don't have to make pre-selection and save money. She really wants to represent Poland again and TVP likes her. Last year Blanka was on TVP's New Year's Eve party with Solo, so maybe they will do the same thing this year. And her name is pronouced more like Yustyna.
@@4ren64 yeah, even with TVP restructure, participating is really easy and relatively inexpensive television for how much viewership they get. i think they can pull it together, especially if Justyna represents as I think she's got enough experience to work with a smaller / less seasoned delegation
Pls TVP choose her. I've heard also that Edyta Gorniak and Michal Szpak want to return to Eurovision but we don't know anything more. Btw can you react to Estonias national selection or to one of the candidates (Ollie - My Friend)?
@@aiko_and_jann_defender i was hoping that he would return this year but it is very unlikely. He goes on tour or will prepare for his tour at the time the (possible) preselections will take place and I dont think his main focus now is Eurovision. Its more likely that he will try 2025, after his touring and other stuff. But we never know.
You did quite well reading the Polish name, you managed to understand it 😁 and as for the words, there is English mixed with Old Slavic, there is no Polish there ☺️ thanks for the beautiful reaction❤
She comes from a whole musical family, and she's the most popular of all of them - there's vocalists, violinists, music directors, composers, sax players etc. and she herself does way more than just sing. She taps into the "witchy" vibes at times, and her debut album had a single "Dziewczyna Szamana" meaning "the Shaman's girlfriend", so there ;) She's currently one of the few most renowned polish vocalists alongside Edyta Górniak and there's a lot of memes about the two and their "rivalry" ;)
2:57 it is in Zakopane - city in Tatra Mountains. It is new year party in this place every year. I really recommend every stage builded there in last years. They all are very stunning.
Szkoda,że nie została wybrana.Piosenka jest świetna, zapada w pamięć...była szansa na top10 conajmniej.A tak no cóż myślę,że niestety ale piosenka Luny tego nie udźwignie.
Steczkowska always had class - especially out of all previous Polish Eurovision entries, she is probably one of the few artists who for decades kept highest level of musical artistry, personality, but full on technical skills. Like, if we sent her - she would probably be the best singer on that stage. But I do not think that the song defends itself. It's shallow, especially for what type of music she has. They really needed to work on those lyrics tbh. I would ever dare to say - it just needed to be all chants and no English word in it.
Just regarding the name of the national selection, it literally means 'Here beat's the Heart of Europe' and is pronounced 'Tu bee-yeah sertseh eh-oo-ro-pyh'
Whilst this is great I really like Mr Narcissus live version of Warrior that's also in contention. I think that could do really well with good staging.
We've been robbed again. I'm not even mad this time like I was last year with "solo" winning over "gladiator", I expected it actually. We really need to change our jury, this one is so bad...
