Stock Market Updates July 11: The S&P BSE Sensex, consisting of 30 major stocks, opened higher with a gain of 200 points, reaching 80,170. Similarly, the Nifty 50, comprising 50 large-cap stocks, also started the day on a positive note at 24,396. The broader benchmark indices continued their upward trend, with the Nifty Midcap 100 gaining 0.33% and opening at 57,217. The Nifty Smallcap 100 also had a strong opening at 18,914, up 0.54%. During the trading session, India VIX showed a decline of -0.86% to reach 14.31. Among the top gainers were ITC (+1.64%), Tata Motors (+1.50%), Asian Paints (+0.93%), SBI (+0.88%), and Titan (+0.84%). On the other hand, Bajaj Finance (-1.48%), M&M (-1.24%), NTPC (-1.14%), and Sun Pharma (-0.89%) experienced declines.
