I always understood the dislike for S1 Sansa but post Ep9 she actually does an amazing job playing her role with the information she was given. You can't blame someone who was sheltered her whole life for being naive and her ark of getting over that is great to see.

Sansa is actually being quite smart in rejecting Middlefinger's offer. She's afraid he's trying to trap her on disloyalty to the crown and name her a traitor, like her father.

Qhorin did it on purpose. It was clear they aren't going to survive when brought to Mance. Qhorin fought wildlings many times, his name was even used to scare wildling children. So he arranged the fight, made it so that Jon looked more trustworthy to wildlings and met his fate.

The thing with Quorin and Jon was planned by Quorin. In the book he keeps asking Jon if his blade is sharp whilst they’re walking with the wildlings and in the show Quorin tells Jon that a man of the nights watch on the inside would be of value, and that they would trust Jon if he does what he needs to when the time is right (killing Quorin in front of the wildlings). In one of the earlier episodes Rob sent word to the Iron Born soldiers at Winterfell that they could leave freely in exchange for Theon Greyjoy so that’s what happened there.

Sansa definitely wants to leave but she is learning the game of lies. You can see how her face turns into a smile after hearing the news but she hides it and feels caught when Little Finger calls out to her. Thats also why he says that she is the worst liar in Kings Landing, because she just started this "game".

Tywin and the Tyrells had already decided everything. The whole thing in the throne room was a performance they put on for the court, so the king is not viewed as an oathbreaker. You can hear that Joffrey sounds stilted sometimes, like he is reading his lines. It's Joffrey being the bad actor there, not Jack Gleeson.

In the book half of Tyrion's nose was cut off when he was attacked. They didn't put it in the show because it would have been too expensive and time consuming to use CGI in every one of his scenes.

26:28 Jon and Halfhand planned this before earlier when they were first caught, the wildings were never going to let Halfhand live and he would probably have been tortured before killed also. This gives Jon some cred with the Wildings and lets Halfhand go out with dignity and serving the watch.

Not sure if it has been said before, but you haven't mentioned it in past reviews, that I can remember. The opening of each episode actually shows all the locations that will be visited in the current episode. Each opening, of the cities being built, are different, and keeps track of things that have happened in the past. For example, if something gets destroyed, it will be reflected in the city being built. Kind of a neat little detail. You sometimes mention you wonder if someone will be in the episode...the openings can sometimes help with the answer! Happy viewing! Love your reviews. This has to be the 5th time going through the series. 🎉😂

I'm watching lots of reactors. You are by far the best at doing reactions. The expression on your eyes can show intensity when there is something going on. Your smile or sadness shows perfectly. The fact that your face is beautiful is just a big plus ❤ Most people talk for the entire episode and probably miss many important information. The not killing of Sam is due to the fact that Sam represents no threat at all. Basically is nothing to them. The sacrifice of Halfhand was a beautiful thing. He increase the chances of Jon to survive with the Wildlings.

Halfhand wanted and let jon snow kill him for 2 reasons, 1 reason is so he would die a quick death instead of being tortured, and 2nd reason was so jon snow could win the wildlings trust and infiltrate them to spy on them for the nights watch.
