Tariq is hilarious and gave the best response. It looked rehearsed, and was probably done to help build up Will's brand. His marketing team had to do damage control for his weakening or wimpish public image caused by Jada's entanglements.
Of course as with all things of this nature, EVERYONE has an opinion. Regardless of the setting this was a very unfortunate incident. After watching the clip several times and listening to his acceptance speech there is clearly more to this than what meets the eye. You never know what a person is dealing with internally. While this may be uncharacteristic of Will everyone has a breaking point and this validates the point that mental health is sooooo important. What appeared last night as a heated response to an off handed, albeit seemingly unintentional joke that should have been cut short; to me now perhaps may have just been the thing that tipped him over the edge. Overall, it may be a moment in time that Will, like all of us at some point or another, will live to regret BUT maybe just maybe it’ll be a turning point for him to dig a little deeper and uncover something that needs to be dealt with.
