Sorry. But lot of what he said is wrong. Kauravas knew who vasudev was and the army was shri krishna’s narayani sena (as in bhagwan vishnu’s army). He was the supreme commander of this army and he himself gave both parties a choice, him or his army. Pandavas chose madhav and kauravas chose the army

To be specific, Arjuna was devastated that he would have to kill his dear and near to regain the material things. His attachment to his dear and near made him swerve away from his duty(swadharma) as a warrior. He wanted to take up sannyasa(para dharma)which was not fit for him. It was at this point that Lord Krishna provided him with the necessary instructions(Srimad Bhagavad Gita) which helped him regain clarity. Liberation is possible only by following one's duty without desire for the result of the action(nishkama karma).
He’s a human being, makes and has made, big mistakes. He has owned up to making mistakes AND has apologized. What more do we, who are also human beings but act like gods who can’t make mistakes, want from him?

Sri Krishna said a lot more thing than just in Gita like food wastage, Karma place, Respect for teacher, Forgiveness, Right time to act etc. You can read entire of it not just Gita. Btw the line I said was told not to Arjun, but Krishna's brother who tried to stay neutral throughout war and went for pilgrimage.

Eklavya was the greatest archer of all. Barbarika the greatest warrior of all, was made to give it all and could not take part in the war. Arjuna was certainly not on the right side of dharma,Draupadi beings the case in point. Krishna,chose Arjuna and that is all about it.

The best advice from Krishna to Arjun was - "Karm kar, phar ki chinta maat kar". Which means you do your job and don't worry about the reward and that's so relatable in life. Many people just give up and stop working once they think it's hopeless. But if you don't work then it's going to turn like that. But if you keep on working no matter how you think it's pointless, there is some chances that your hardwork might save you in the end. There are so many good advices mentioned in Bhagawat Gita that can help you. It doesn't matter if you believe in the Gita or not but you should try and learn from all the good advices mentioned in it.
