After moving the family to Florida, Yetunde missed her high school friends she had made in those impressionable years and moved back. For her, the rest is history. Gang execution. Three children were orphaned, with no father to support them. Yes, Oracene bears responsibility too. But it was Richards 98 page plan. He didn't think about what moving to Compton would mean to the others, just the money he would make telling the story of poverty to riches, using Venus and Serena to get there. Madison avenue New york loves the narrative but not the rest of the story. So when you see Serena waving goodbye to the adulation, think about Yetunde and her three children waving bye.
