This movie deserved better reception upon release. It was a cool as thing to sit and watch. Then again maybe it’s just that I was a kid, but I love this aesthetic to bits. I've always appreciated the fact that Will Smith has been one of the few "clean" rappers who was always mindful of his lyrics. 😊 He didn't need to participate in community killing, anti-family, and anti-women "gangsta rap" to make hits.

Matt Warrington There’s plenty of recording artists who’ve sampled beats from older songs and changed them up a bit to make new hits. In fact most have done it on one song or another including Jay Z with his major hit “Hard Knock Life.” Which everyone knows samples music and lyrics from the theme song of the hit show/musical Annie. Plus Will Smith has plenty of songs that were well known hits that didn’t sample anyone else’s music. Why is it that anytime someone says something positive about someone doing the right thing, there’s always someone who has to come in and spew some type of negativity any way they can?
