This movie deserved better reception upon release. It was a cool as thing to sit and watch. Then again maybe it’s just that I was a kid, but I love this aesthetic to bits. I absolutely LOVE dieselpunk, and I absolutely LOVE this song. The production was insane and so on point… and man, I miss this era for Will Smith. I know he can still do it though, if he wants to. Man’s the coolest.

The hate..I remember started from Will playing an originally White character. The hate piled up even more as the remake took a down to earth western and made it a ridiculous fantasy. All that being said, I liked the movie and I like this song.

Matt Warrington There’s plenty of recording artists who’ve sampled beats from older songs and changed them up a bit to make new hits. In fact most have done it on one song or another including Jay Z with his major hit “Hard Knock Life.” Which everyone knows samples music and lyrics from the theme song of the hit show/musical Annie. Plus Will Smith has plenty of songs that were well known hits that didn’t sample anyone else’s music. Why is it that anytime someone says something positive about someone doing the right thing, there’s always someone who has to come in and spew some type of negativity any way they can?
