Please keep things civil in the comments today everyone. Remember that PKers, skillers and PvMers are all just people behind a screen at the end of the day. Unlike those subhuman ultimate ironmen. They're the worst.
Ultimate ironmen are the worst you say? You said we'll forgive you for anything you say? I'll forgive you ONLY if you say Ultimate ironmen are better than you...
As a hardcore ironman and it being all i play i still vote in the best interest in pk and other content however all these silly cosmetic updates like wanting hooded skillcapes is silly the skill capes are one of the most iconic rs2 parts of the game personally an attached hood would ruin them for me
@@richardjones8846 maybe an infernal where you pay a fee to once per day/week and they give you a set inventory. Than it'd be skill vs game mechanics rather than tbowing 80s on task as it is now.. They're very against rwting infernals but you can basically buy best in slots (they almost never care or catch the people buying lmao..) and face roll it yourself in a week (given your account has the stats)
It's just a bunch of braindead monsters with high hits meaning they're susceptible to the effects of tick eating and prayer flicking. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.
@@Gudi I swear to god if you don't use "007 Sound System - Dreamscape" or any old Linkin Park song like "In The End" whilst using Unregistered Hypercam, I'm gonna report you to the internet police.
Just put a poll booth on world 18 near edgeville ditch to let pkers vote. Not many accounts will go to that world and specific location just to vote against.
But if they start making "exclusive" polls it'll not be long until the skilling community says "Yeah, people who don't skill and have atleast 5 99 non-combat skills shouldn't be able to vote" and then the PvM community comes and says: "Well, people with a Vorkath/Zulah/Raids 1 & 2 KC less than 1000 shouldn't be able to vote for PvM content" and then the questers come and say: "If you don't own a questcape you shouldn't be able to vote on quests" and the list continues. You can't make exclusive polls without splitting the community even further apart. I'm pretty sure that's not the right solution.
Just subscribed this week, looking forward to the next bronze man mode video. Also love the format of the Q&A because I don't have the time to watch the full version. Cheers m8.
Are they going to stop hiding questions in QOL polls? I haven’t been able to play recently but I came online and bought a bond just to vote no on that hidden divine question.
What if they put a seperate pvp poll box next to the wildy edge, casual players wouldn't take the effort to go there to vote for something they aren't interested in, right?
Let's get some things straight: PvM still makes up the majority of the playerbase, and they are going to vote according to what direction they want the game to take. Most of these people aren't voting out of spite, many of them do not wish for pvp content to die. Many good and smart skillers can get more of the reward and less of the risk from the wildy and benefit greatly from it. Here's the thing, most of them aren't interested in PvPing themselves, even if they don't mind you doing it. So what does this mean? This means that if a vote passes for pvp content, the devs will be spending time on creating content that most players don't care about, or won't even interact with, and as you can see from the video, they are so strapped for time and hands they can't even add more hairstyles at the time being. So it's not entirely spite (maybe some) but more lack of consideration for a smaller portion of the playerbase, but the game does owe a fair bit of its continued success from pvp content. Unfortunately as it is, PvPers have the uphill battle to fight, but I think that's fair, because as another user noted, if we let the pvpers block others from their votes, then skillers will do the same, questers, and so on until the game is basically entirely divided into several mini-games that probably won't even have much to do with eachother, and will have entirely separate directions. You need to remember, you are the vocal minority as a PvPer, but you also get the most attention of all the game's demographics. I think it's PvPers responsibility to entice people to get involved in pvp content, so that they can sway the votes without restrictions. To get your own priviledges while being a minority demographic would be unfair to the bigger portion of the playerbase and I don't think that's the direction the devs want to take. My 20000 cents
Hey Gudi. Any idea why they never feature my question? I was asking for a month about Kebos slayer chest and drops inside and they just keep ignoring me. 200 of each best herbs as a drop is not normal. Look how much best in slot potions dropped in price. They told they will never add nothing which would stop skilling. They should have added seeds instead. Not final product
We know it's a problem it does not need "Looking into" in that way. The simplest way is to give higher % towards the poll depending on your engagement in the activity. So someone with 50044948473 vorath kills and one PVP kill should not have as high % as someone with the same stats in pvp over pvm.
so you are telling me i got a useless 1/20k drop in like 5 or 10 minutes but i cant get a single pet ( on an other note i also got a smuldering stone form a hellhoud task)
I might have an idea for jagex to fix it. In the poll they can add the "do you spend time pvping" and if they answer yes the pvp polls pop up for them. but if they say no they will stay hidden.
Just out of intrest couldn't they add a PVP poll booth in the wilderness and that way only Thoes interested would generally make the effort to vote there?
Sorry iv been out of the loop for awhile with pcsing with the military so idk if this has been discussed. Good to know people are still shameless towards a simple question.
2:40 So if this is a no to making the Iban's Staff a trident, doubt we'll be able to see autocast set automatically on the weapon when you put it on so you dont have to set autocast (Because who even uses Iban's staff for spells other than Iban Blast?).
I don’t like the idea that drops are determined when you kill something instead of when it spawns. Just the idea that a whip could be sitting inside an abyssal demon for like 3 days because nobody attacked it vs basing heavy rng and timing on a drop. To think if you just hit a 3 instead of that 0 you would’ve got a prim crystal or even the other way around. If you just hit one more 0 instead of killing it faster you would’ve got a visage. Idk, I feel the same way about clues too. I like to think that the casket is determined as you get the clue, but I know it’s not :)
Some good stuff upcoming. All really good options. Special attack clickable up there ive been wanting Soo badly for pvm. Glad they don't want it for pvp.
in my opinion the info about the loot being generated on death of a minion is the biggest most important piece of info there is because when a monster is killed the loot being determined means that no one ever like takes your drops such as someone crashes you at cerberus and gets a primordial crystal instead what happens is the game says this player just killed this monster generate loot which means someone who gets back to back whips did not just kill two abby demons that were assigned to drop whips where anyone could have killed that specific one and gotten a whip but that the player him/her self rolled two whips i am super happy this info has been released as it solves many you stole my drop kind of arguments and unnessesary negativity in the game
I have a fix, next poll the first question asks do you spend more of your time doing PvM or PvP. Based on your answer to get send to a poll regarding that subject. BOOM
Yes good idea, if someone likes both then they get excluded from one thing. Also, if you'd just have to tick off whether you PK or not or whether you PVM or not, so you could still answer both if you practise both, what idiot would purposely say "nah, I don't need my voting right on that part"? Even if it doesn't concern them, people will still want to vote on those things if they're given the chance.
“Restricted voting” Perhaps an age restriction on the account? So many hours played IN MEMBERS Avoiding any “Hmmm that could be cool” level 40casuals that don’t quest
Im still triggered that they ignored the players passed poll on sand, I 3tick mined sand for along time and spent a mil on camulet thx to the poll. So bad.
if u wanna fix pvp for players they would need to revert the void nerf because people with no void would vote agaisnt it.. its so rare to see a void pure and they risk 20x a pure does depending on the combat lvl i think ive seen 3-4 void pures at the most in a single pvp world..
@@FisherGaming And how do you know what's best for the PvP community when you're not a pvper? Deep wildy pkers have been craving new content, and any decent suggestions get shot down by pvmers.
PVM'ers vote against PVP things out of spite, because they get pk'd for nothing and makes an entire section of their RuneScape experience considerably worse, because pkers dgaf. If you want to pk, go to a pvp world.
@@dissy1994 you're entering a place in runescape, that WARNS you other plays can kill you, and if you die, you will either lose everything, lose 3 items, or lose 4 items. You're in a place DEDICATED for player vs player content, and you are complaining about getting pked? When you know the risks?? Are you trolling?
Some updates just make sense to vote no to if you're not a pvper, like the recent entangle and bind thing, why would a pvmer make it harder for themselves to get away from pkers?
I found funny how they cannot see if people got seven skull above players, and if people got those 7 skull they can see pvp polls. So the jadex taem on osrs can filter PVPer out of the PVEer.
The funniest thing about skillers and PVM’ers are how they pretend their communities are any less toxic then PVP. I don’t vote no on new PVM content because even though I’ve had some really bad experience with PVM’ers that doesn’t mean I don’t want new fresh content myself. The problem with PVP is a lot of new/newerplayers who don’t understand historically what a massive part of the game PVP is and rage when they get killed. I’ve literally seen non ironic suggestions to make it so you can only pk in pk worlds? That’s why the wilderness has some great skilling and PVM content Because of the risk if you don’t like that don’t cross the ditch.
Yup... I pk and pvm and skill, ive encountered some of the most entitled morons from all parts of the community but mostly from the pvm community. Like they truly believe they're forced to go into the winderness or something and when they do they think they have immunity while doing slayer or a clue scroll training prayer or pvming ect and lash out in rage when they get killed. Its honestly a joke.
I won't cross the ditch, and since I won't enter the wildy, I'll vote no on any content revolving around it since I don't want dev time taken away from content I will use :^) Thanks for the advice
I would like Mod Ash at least play a little bit, i get he already spends a ton of time on runescape with developing and the community but I think he would have brilliant ideas for updates if he played a little
maybe with the ice doors in gwd they could provid content for guthix boss and a godsword! its been a long time and nobody has ever discussed guthix godsword!!!
You know, The oldschool team doesn't have a huge incentive to cater specifically to PKers, because as a whole, they make up a minority of the playerbase, an obnoxiously vocal one, but a minority.
All the people complaining about pkers pking in the wildly reminds me that not EVERYONE is an adult that started playing awhile ago smh. Imagine being mad that hard content being hard because its locked behind certain risks are hard because theyre locked behind certain risks smh stay out of the wildy if you dont want to be in the wildy that is the POINT lmao
I don't have a dog in either side of this fight but that is just a bad argument. PvM still makes up the majority of the playerbase and you can't blame them for not wanting to add content to areas they have no interest going to. They would rather have the devs work on things they are more inclined to participate in, and are voting accordingly.
@@is8683 Alright bro I will, and while I'm sitting at my desk eating my goldfish crackers and sipping a juice box I'll make sure to always vote no on pvp polls.
