When you hear a message that exalts the 'life in Christ' the way this message does, it frees you up from years of confusion. Doubt & fear are not what Christ strives to engender in any of us...yet my wife & I spent decades in a limbo like state wondering if we were pleasing God. You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free. This happened about 12 years ago in our lives and we've been joyful & content in Christ since it happened. Remember that great old anthem...Jesus did it all, all to Him I owe. We are all invited to walk in this glorious knowledge. Folks like Andrew share the Gospel sensibly and lovingly how thankful I am for videos like these.
Since I started learning the true Gospel a few years ago the sad thing is I no longer desire to go to church. It just seemed like the ones I went to messed up my new understanding. They are all law based in some form, or the 5 ways to be more like this or 3 things you can do to be more like that. I would rather worship and learn from home...
timtglf I strongly encourage you to go to church. See Hebrews 10:24-25. It is not about everyone being perfect but about learning from each other and encourage each other and helping each other to focus on Jesus and his finished work. Maybe you are the One God wants to use to help other people see the same thing you learned here. Maybe just a little hint from your site or how you life free through this knowledge will make them question their own believe. Let God lead you. But don't condemn your brothers and sisters...
I understand how you feel. I would love to go to church and have the Christian fellowship, but I will no longer sacrifice sound biblical doctrine to get it. Most churches today are either very liberal (taking away from the gospel) or very legalistic (adding works to the gospel). Better to stay home and listen to good sound preaching online than sit in a church and listen to a corrupted gospel. It's sad that it has to be this way, but Jesus foretold of this time. He said that the time would come when people would not endure sound doctrine. We are living in that time. Given the way preachers are today, I would rather stay home to worship and learn too.
Michael Lehman man I know that situation, be sure. Just ask HIM what is right for you. Another alternative could be to ask him to show you a church where you could go and he will lead you.
You're still the best, Andrew!! You exhibit the peace of Christ and the gentleness and respect toward in the manner that Paul says to use when sharing the good news with others. I will never get tired of hearing you teach and encourage.❣️
I was taught UPC doctrine and I ended up divorcing my husband. I thought I was going to hell, I was crying on my front porch looking at the sky, sobbing in remorse and thinking God wouldn't forgive me. Suddenly, I was interrupted by a voice!!! It was God! He spoke to me in the spirit, OUTLOUD, and said, "Let not the heart be troubled"! I was blown away! Whaaat?? I just audibly heard the voice of God, radiate through my head and tell me not to be troubled, He has prepared a place for me, a mansion in heaven. And none of that laws matter because He fulfilled the law in His death, burial and ressurection! Thank you Jesus! Then He told me in a dream that I would be raptured!!!
Another absolutely amazing sermon! Completely explained and leaving no questions to be asked. Again like always I'm sharing this with Facebook in hopes that thousands will see! Praise God for pastor Andrew Farley!
I am very thankful for our brother's teaching ministry. I had either interpreted wrong or listened to teachings that were not correct.....and, I was really struggling with my Faith and Salvation in Jesus Christ......even with the best intentions. Now I understand how God has placed gifted teachers in the body of Christ....so we are not tossed to and fro with winds of various doctrines....we move on to spiritual maturity and growth in all dimensions...as God is pleased to take our burdens away...wipe away every tear....constantly deliver us from evil, ( 2 Cor. 4 verses 8-10 ) and Jesus gives us easy and light.....Praise our God.
When I talk to Church goers or people at Bible study that Jesus's died for all my sins they attack me. But I see the Gospel so clearly now. But they are so unsure and have so many grey area's they can't answer. They are lost its hidden from them.
AMEN !!! I don't live to please God the Father because I have to, I live to please God the Father because I want to. Why do I want too ? Because I love him. Why do I love him ? Because he first loved me and so many more reasons. Teach me Father how to love. You and my brothers and sisters. My desire, to have no other gods before you. Father you have changed my want too.
I used think I was a Christian for many years then when Jesus called my name I sincerely asked Jesus in and the Holy Spirit baptized me Spiritually by Jesus blood and made me to be born again.
God loves us and wants to transform us into the likeness of Jesus by the power of His Holy Spirit from grace to grace, NOT to spoil our fun but to give us more fun. Sin leads to death and destruction and the devil wants to kill, steal, and destroy us but God wants us to be free from sin and free from the fear, doubt, guilt , shame,, and all that sin does to harm us. Relationship with Jesus Christ is the most beautiful and amazing freedom that I have ever known. I don't wake up trying not to sin. I wake up a Daughter and sin is not in my thoughts anymore. We come to God for His goodness and Agape Love, not out of fear. God is Love, and we can become the Love of God too. Yay God!
Great message but I wish he would have used more scripture to back up what he was saying. I'm well over half way through and he hasn't gone to the Bible once. People need proof that what he's saying is true.
Toni Harrison well said I do like to search the Scriptures and line up with His Word and have watched Mr Farley a few times but this teaching is on point, just less opinion is needed and more WORD as many and I mean MANY preachers nowadays spew OPINIONS and LIFE COACH people with sprinkled scriptures at the end This man is a sound teacher though as he usually takes you from start to finish through a book ,rightly dividing each Word systematically This is why I watch him as he digs INTO context,so check out his other teachings,as many say he is hypergrace I say no to that
Yes, I've seen his other videos and he is good about using scripture, I just wish he'd done it with this video. I am subscribed to him and do love his teachings.
Toni Harrison amen sister in Christ!!! Just stumbled on this guy about a month ago Met The Lord about 3 half years ago and just left a church of 2 years as they mix and match Law ,marry covenants and add works to salvation I was saved by Grace alone and couldn’t see what they saw, spoke up at bible studies Honest questions and the mixture of most mature Christians didn’t see what I saw Anyways, church hurt led me to the wilderness and I’ve been bouncing around looking for a church BUT they ALL are far left or far right Never IN context teachings Mixing ,matching covenants,Law Especially TITHE,TITHE,TITHE I thought I was going crazy ,on an island,my thinking is waaay off????? Wife almost convinced me I would never find a church or preacher believing what I do!!! Then I stumble on this man about a month ago!!!!! This man speaks TRUTH and they label him hypergrace!!! Whatever, maybe they should DIG INTO CONTEXT!!! anyways sorry for the rant ,just am thankful and blessed by God,He has led me to this preacher Be blessed !!!!!
At the 4:26 mark He mentioned Paul talking in Colossians chapter 2. Perhaps, Toni Harrison, you should put your smart phone away and listen instead of being critical of something you don't want to hear.
Great message! Go to France and tell them they have to give up their wine and wine vineyards before they can be a 'real' Christian and see the response you will get. Jesus..."Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!" To be FOUND IN HIM. A NEW HEART will I give thee.
Yes God never stops loving us but sex outside marriage is sin, to choose one practice. Romans 6:1. The sex one outside marriage is easy to see that it's wrong according to God's Word. Those other ones are not touched on in God's Word so we have to do what is profitable and good for us.
What is the difference between the Ten Commandments vs Sin? I know you said recently that we cannot lose our Salvation by sinning after we've been saved. But my question is, what if we break the Ten Commandments after we've been saved?
Darius Brooks, I don't know what you mean "What is the 10 commandments vs. sin". The 10 commandments are part of the 613 pieces of legislation given in stone, and found in the books of the law (the 1st 5 books of the O.T.). Sin is anything outside of God. When a lost soul accepts Christ's free gift of salvation, they are declared dead to the law. The Christian is dead to the law. The 10 commandments is for someone who wants to be accepted into God's presence, without going through Christ. Good luck with that. The law demands that you keep EVERY part of it. I don't know about you, but I think I would put my faith and trust in the only person who was ever able to keep, fulfill, and pay the penalty of the law. Jesus Christ.
@8:20 he says *_"The Christian message - the message of Jesus Christ - is that the expectations have been met . . . there is nothing you can do to get God to like you any more than He likes you right now."_* Ohhhh yes there IS! You can follow His directions and come to Him in repentance, confessing and forsaking sin. For THAT you'll enter His promised mercy: ■ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30) Follow directions, and we'll receive His promised mercy: ■ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13) God changed His mind about about punishing Nineveh because they changed their mind about continuing in sin. They "turned from their evil way": ■ "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not." (Jonah 3:10) Here's what Jesus had to say about Nineveh. Note this: He used "repentance" in reference to turning from sin: ■ "The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they *repented* at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here." (Jesus, in Matthew 12:41) ==================== Jesus expects us - through a relationship with Him - to overcome slavery to sin. It is completely incorrect to say "the expectations have been met." *Read what Jesus says:* ■ "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19) ■ "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death." (Revelation 2:11) ■ "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father." (Revelation 2:26,27) ■ "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." (Revelation 3:5) ■ "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Revelation 21:7)
I love Andrews grace style. I always end up saying, "So, how should I then live?" Can I use my upbringing or my culture perhaps? I understand my freedom. But, what is actually good in the things I do? Or is it irrelevant? There is no right behaviour and where would I get it? The local gay school? They seem OK with their lifestyle. Can they tack on Jesus and keep on going or can someone actually say this is the wrong behaviour? Would that be a law?
Bill Hesford if one truly receive Christ, Christ begins to change your thoughts. Change a person’s thought life and the person is changed. It called renewing the mind. Christ will lead you out of a sinful lifestyle if you are living in one. Meanwhile you are saved by His love and Grace. You do not have to strive to please God. You please him by your faith in his Word. Just get into His Word and you will be changed!
I get what he's saying and where he's coming from, but i do have concerns with this teaching. For example the Harry Potter movies. This is blatant witchcraft. God did not want us entertaining witchcraft at all. This is not acceptable in my opinion
I blame roman catholicism for the skewed world view on what Christianity actually is. People assume Christianity is a religion. Lastly, what is wrong with republican thinking? All of my family in the States is republican. Lol!
If there ever was a sermon on easy believism, I think we just heard it. Morgan, go have the sex before marriage you want to have and write about. There is nothing in the bible about not doing or wanting to do that. You must have come from a crazy background. You have just heard the good news.
When he started talking about the only thing that separates Christians from other religions is Grace.... I stopped listening. The Trinity of God, the Godhead, Jesus Christ our Savior, is what separates Christians from other "false " religions.
God IS Grace The Word of God teaches that true born-again Christians are "called by His Grace" (Gal. 1:6, 15; 2 Tim. 1:9), they are "saved by Grace" (Eph. 2:8; Acts 15:11; Titus 2:11; 2 Tim. 1:9), they "stand [continue and endure] in Grace" (Rom. 5:2; 1 Pet. 5:12), they "serve by Grace" (1 Cor. 3:9-10; 1 Cor. 15:10), they "grow in Grace" (2 Pet. 3:18), and "His Grace is sufficient and more than abundant" for the believer (2 Cor. 12:9; 1 Tim. 1:14). Grace is a gift (Eph. 3:7; 4:7; Rom. 3:24). Every Christian is a steward of the "manifold Grace of God" (1 Pet. 4:10).
