I can't help myself, I just love getting my hands on new trees. So, when this opportunity came along, I had to grab some new trees.

Nice find on the trees for a good price. Bare root. Cool. Helps with the roots getting use to the new soil.

Cheers BC and they're not bad trees for that price. Hopefully they'll grow on and become nice trees. After seeing the tulip tree down in the park, I had to try and get one

It's sure worth looking into, little bargain whips like this will grow into trees in no time.

I remember the Queens Tulip Tree 💚 whips do grow fast and are always ( well mostly always ) fair priced. I am jealous of the rain water barrel 💚

That certainly is a fantastic Tulip tree that the queen planted and I hope these little whips do the same. Yeah it's an old water butt, but it does do the job 👍

Nice starting soil mix for the young trees. Tags are the best. I find also that if you do not have any planting tags, I use painters tape to write on. Easy to come off when the pot would be used for another tree after the senior tree is removed. Great planting video with very good explanation as to what you are doing.

Cheers Tom and that's not a bad idea with the painters tape. I'll give that a go if I run out of white sticks. With my memory I find it hard keeping track of what trees I have

@@NotAnotherBonsaiChannel So do I. I forget a lot of times also. Another gardening station did something cool also. The venetian blinds. When they get old, they do not throw them out. They cut the plastic slats to size and use them as markers for the rows of what they plant. Easy to write on with a marker. One old blind should last us a long time with all the slats that they have. Once my old blind on the back door is replaced, I will give it a try to save money. Just another thought to use for you and save money on marker sticks.
