A typical spring day in Montana

I was a farmer for many years, but never a horseman. I guess I was a little scared by them, and stuck to my mechanical horses.. Now in my golden years, your videos have become a highlight of my week. Thank you! I kinda wish I had known more about these beautiful and sensitive animals back then

I was lucky enough to live with 3 horses and 2 dogs for the 1st 14 years of my life. Every second was spent with my horses! Heaven👍💓🙋‍♀️

Your management & fine tuning of your horses feed for their health really shows. Skelator is looking magnificent, to the untrained eye like mine, most would not see his disability. His body condition & beauty truly takes my breath away. Kudos to you.

Taking care of a herd of horses is work and more work. Keeping them dry and warm is all part of the chores.

Horses really notice when their "routine" feeding time switches up or down! Creatures of habit! Their personalities are funny to watch. Nigel is hard to spoil.....probably had years of a hard life, and being treated good is hard for him to key into! Independent!!

Sometimes the algorithm blesses me with a channel like this. I’ve been hooked for about a week since it appeared on my YT suggested videos Other times youtube thinks I need to watch videos about underwater basket weaving. Don’t get me wrong, I watch YT I enjoy learning about people who are different from myself. But I’ve never even googled “wet basket creation” or “weaving soggy sticks” so I don’t know what’s going on

The moment Frisco Bill saw the gate close, he realized he lost his freedom to go back to Primrose. Frisco was totally chill until that point. Horses are rather intelligent animals.

Ziggy is fine. Should be done with quarantine now. CC posted a short saying it's day 30. Probably next video he will be at the barn with the other horses.

The loveliest experience I ever had with a horse was walking my quarterhorse who had colic a l-o-n-g distance. Being at eye level added to our shared experience ❤❤ We chatted the whole time.

You've got those horses looking good, girl. Some folks here in East Tennessee doesn't know how much work it takes to keep that many horses up. A lot of cattle people here. When there in need of something, they sell them off and buy more. Take care, God bless.

I love how Studman comes up to you without any fuzz! Looking forward to you riding him, he seems so stable and intelligent! Fresco Bill, being a silly old man when it comes to Primm! She sure got him under a spell! 😂 No Tiny? Now I will wonder if she’s okey after her trip to the vet! She’s such a amazing Queen of the Stables! 🥰 Nigel will learn as all us old geezers, it will hurt way more next day! Been limping after trying to get out of bed fast because I felt a leg cramp was coming. If you can stand on the leg before the cramp, then you can stretch it out. It instead I rolled out of the bed and landed on my left hip and the leg cramped! Getting up with a leg cramp in the middle of the night when you still are a bit groggy … and in the morning my back hurt like …. 😈🔥! Stinks to get old! 😫

Thank you. You are the best channel on yootoob. I've watched some other videos that horse rescuers/trainer have uploaded. None of them are anywhere near as good as your videos. Some of them were so disturbing that I un-followed them. When one of them had to hobble a new rescue horse to 'teach him patience' I wanted to pummel him. You are down to earth, unpretentious, kind and compassionate. Unfortunately these qualities have become rare. Bravo Clever Cowgirl. I am so grateful that you are sharing your life with me/us. You're the only reason I even visit yootoob anymore.

Nigel is such a little sh*t. 😂 He has no idea what a lucky leprechaun he is to have such a patient, knowledgeable Mom. How do you know the weather was affecting Skeletor? I just love hearing about what food and care each horse needs. I’m always so I impressed by how you keep track of everybody’s needs and habits. Do you ever train any of the horses to pull a little cart you can ride in? I think that would be fun. I can’t remember what those little one person carts are called, but they seem like they would be good exercise and fun for some horses. 🤎
