In our county US FL, you are responsible for anything that grows on your side of the fence/property line. Even if a tree falls into your yard from the neighbors, any removal and damage is your responsibility. Pretty good stats. >3k views with >600 👍

Hey Nathan I'm surprised you haven't 1M already. Won't be long. Here in the US, neighbors can trim whatever part infringes on their property line. It seems it's the same there. I'm always watching your videos
You already make very good videos on excellent topics. This, the neighbor to the right can't uses their yard unless they trim the full hedge coming from the neighbor to the left. It is a condition. So, trimming their side of the hedge gives them full access to their yard, and there is no problem. From a landscaping viewpoint, there is no way for that hedge to have enough room to grow and it will always need extensive trimming back. You gave the people back their space, their view and their ability to navigate their property. Nice work.
My neighbour planted a vine that grew all along the top of the fence. After a couple of years it damaged the lattice on the top. They replaced all the lattice and got rid of the vine. We have good neighbours, but ultimately since it was their choice to plant the vine it was their responsibility to replace the damaged fence. 😎🇨🇦😎
It’s watch time Nathan. Your ‘regular’ uploads are still quite short but if you had 15-20 minute videos, more opportunity for folk to see advertisements and then the algorithm would push your videos more. There’s a different algorithm for RU-vid shorts too. Nice job by the way 👌🏼

I live in the US and in my state there are laws pertaining to trees/shrubs that overhang on someone else's property. The property owner who is dealing with the overhanging branches, has the legal right to trim the tree/shrubs up to the property line. While it's certainly not legally required, generally the two neighbors will discuss the situation before action is taken. But if the tree/shrub owner refuses to trim back his tree/shrub, the other neighbor dealing with the overhang does have legal rights to trim the stuff off his property up to the line. Anything cut past the property line and the tree/shrub owner can sue. All states here in the US should have similar laws and probably vary somewhat between states.
My mother tried to talk nicely about trimming trees with her neighbor and when he wouldn’t budge, she did what Nathan did… cut the trees in half at the property line.
I had something similar to this, but they are fruit trees. Huge branches arching over my courtyard. I asked the neighbour to do something about it, but he never did anything. I was afraid of a branch breaking and either hitting me or taking my entire gutter off. I ended up asking a friend to cut it back for me. A week after the branches were cut, a big storm rolled in and I was so grateful that I was safe.
The finish looks good. I'd like more camera angles, or farther in the distance. We couldn't see part of what it was and what it became. Some use two cameras and in editing you can intersperse the two different views. I think you can get there.
Where I live the person that owns the property that the plant is on is responsible for any damage caused by the plant. The owner of the property that the plant is encroaching on had the right to cut the plant back to the property line .
Where Nathan is in Australia the person who has the vegetation hanging over like this is allowed to cut it back. But if it's a big tree in another person's yard with branches overhanging your house then you ask them if they can talk to council to see if council will allow them to have the branch removed.
There is potentially opportunity of making a video similar to this in castle hill at the cross section of sherwin avenue and whitling avenue. Been seeing that corner lot for over 3 months without any care..isnt causing any trouble for anyone..i think the houses are abandoned hence overgrowth everywhere..if you want to consider

*Ok so in NZ the person that owns the property that the Hedge/tree is on, is responsible for any damage caused by the hedge/tree. But the owner of the property that the hedge/tree is encroaching over the fence, has the right to cut the hedge/tree back to the boundary line, plus also place said clippings back over the fence in a nice pile for the owner of said hedge/tree to get rid of all clippings. Or they could be nice to get rid of the clippings themselves, if there wasn't going to be too much cost, to the encroached neighbour who cut/trimmed back the hedge/tree. Hopefully it never turns into a all out war between neighbours.🙂.*
