Mix that dough bait with cotton balls & it will stay on your hook better. All those stinky "Catfish Dough Baits" work pretty well for catching Cats. Also try using spring hooks for holding the bait on the hook better. Enjoyed watching you catch those catfish!
I've used that catfish bait and others similar to it. Try using a treble hook with a spring bait keeper on it that will help keep the bait positioned and from falling off, plus keep it a cool dry area it will preserve it longer. Great upload
Best way to rig the SSS stuff is with an applicator that looks like a 2.5 inch worm with holes like Swiss cheese (some have a little sponge at the end those work too) which allows the stinkbait to get trapped inside so it slowly releases depending if there's current or not. #tightlines
I have all ways been able to catch fish on most brands of stink baits ? I even mix them together , if I have more then 1 type ? Charlie Blood , Lucky 7 . 2 old brands I had a lot of luck with . Yes I HAVE used this bait & caught fish doing so .
Yes sir buddy you got on them. I’ve tried the Walmart bait when I was younger but it’s so hard to store and I left it in my tackle box and it cooked in there for a while 😂 never again
I have tried this bait and not that it doesnt work but it always falls off the hook maybe because the water is too warm up here around this time in NC but i will definitely give this bait another go
@@robertolugo2822 ya I wish I had more. I am gonna buy another kind of rod holder at Kris Flores 's booth at the outdoor expo here in las cruces February 3rd and 4th that he is gonna be selling for this other guy that lives in el paso. I think his company is called gb fishing. He makes rod holders not quite like this but they are nice.
