We made it to the 2024 National Clydesdale Sale!!! This is a 3 day affair. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. This video is Friday, as we couldn’t make it Thursday. Friday is the preview day of ALL 125 Clydesdales consigned. We walk around, checking them all out and ( as hard as it is ) pick our top 10 favorites to bid in!!! Then we narrow it down to our top 3! It’s hard not to fall in love with them all, but there are always the ones that speak to you a little louder and pull at your heart strings a little harder. Come along for this amazing journey searching for the perfect team mate for our rescued Clydesdale, Oliver!

I'm for Natty. I think you guys do such a great job at giving a somewhat disadvantaged horse a very loving and healthy home, just like with Oliver. They would be soul mates. ❤❤😊

Love Nattie. She needs a bit of help, like Oliver did. Think it would be worth it. Jasmine is knock down gorgeous, and in foal. Can’t even imagine what she will cost. My vote still with Nattie.

According to the science, bone chips are multifactorial. Meaning genetics plus vitamin deficiency when forming in utero. You take good care and ensure she has good nutrients pre peri and post natal and all will be well. That said , that wee filly needs help and you know how to help her

Natty is "the one" that I would buy. Ultimately, ..... it is your choice. Rebekah, if your dad passes on Natty, you buy her. JR, do not overwhelm Emeri. While you are at work and Bekah is at school, Emeri is the one who shoulders the load on the farm. Be compassionate of your wife's responsibilities. Let young Natty grow up with the family. I can already see there's alot of caring people in here that will be worried sick about her (wanting the best for her) she doesn't appear to be as bad off as Oliver was? I don't think? & she should go for a fair price considering she needs a little help from her friends❤🙏🤞🍀

They're all so beautiful!!❤ your top 3 are good I'm sure but my ♥ heart goes out to Natty❤ looks like she "needs" the thorough TLC she would get at the homestead (& BEKAH LOVES HER!! & Natty loves Bekah back!) - there are so many beauties there!! It must be dizzying - seconds are the ones with babies inside or out (my heart always favors the smallest weakest ugliest it's just how I've always been) this is a real nail biter😬 I feel for you guys this cannot be easy with so many lovely choices - in the end I hope & 🙏 pray the right one comes to you all ❤🙏 GOOD LUCK!!🙏❤️🙂🍀🤞👍👍

They are all such beautiful horses! That is a tough choice. So I would at this point ask God into this decision, and let Him open the doors that would lead to the right choice, which may be the cost. I know the sale is over and the decision has already been made. You’ve picked three great horses. Jasmine is my favorite but I understand why everyone loves Nattie. The bone chip mare is also absolutely gorgeous but the chips concern me. Wish you could have talked to your vet before having to make the decision. I think whatever choice was made (if you even got one!) I have faith you made the right one

The channel "Working Horses with Jim" could be a great resource for Jr. He has Belgians, a Suffolk Punch and other drafts. He uses his horses to log, plow, pull stuff and all the things. He has been doing this since childhood.

I can’t believe that someone put shoes on a foal guys, if it was me buying her the first thing I would do is speak to a farrier to see about removing them, there’s so many beautiful horses there, and I noticed that Jasmine has what looks like a love heart on her left knee, so sweet, l will be watching with anticipation when the auction begins, good luck, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧

So terrible to see the cruel tail docking of the Clydesdale. It is illegal in UK. If you do not think it is cruel read about it then. Nothing more beautiful than seeing a Clydesdale cantering around a paddock with that stunning flowing tail

I don't know WHY they can't just braid their tails to keep it out of the equipment... No excuse these days for docking any animal's tail unless to protect their health (cancer, non-healing injury, etc...) Have a great day.🐞

If you want a somewhat matched pair, you’re gonna have to match the size too. That could mean bigger than you really want. I don’t know why, but I would go with the mayor with the bone chips. Worth the risk I think.

I love Netty…what a beautiful Soul…there were so many beautiful options, but I agree an 18 hand Horse is just…humongous, I loved that 15 year old Mare very beautiful but…non of us has the Money to buy them all…and I guess it’s to late to open up a Netty Fund on RU-vid…😂

No shortage of fabulous choices (JR was so funny, thanking people for making his short-list longer and more confusing :) Gosh, what a hard choice (but so good that there are multiple choices and so more likely a Clyde mare will be coming to your farm to become Oliver's partner. I think Jasmine, with her dapples and more compact size is the perfect pic for Oliver (plus a baby on board already). I liked every horse you looked at; if you're able to get one of them, you will be happy I think. I can't wait to see your next video and what happened. Clydes sure are a lovely breed of horse, with very docile and sweet natures, overall.

I like Jasmine number one, then mom with sassy baby, then the little one, she really did look rough and the fact that thing about they only owned her 2 weeks? Longish hair, Cushings ??? I don’t think i would choose the one with bone chips, may be ok now but later in life may cause problems like arthritis…. But I’ll be happy with whichever one you are able to win. Just picking one, doesn’t guarantee you get her. Good luck!
