It works so well with this song but I can’t help but wonder who tortured the poor grand piano so much that it sounds like an upright from an abandoned saloon
its because its a tack piano! its a kind of piano that gets used for ragtime or old timey songs pretty often, its called a tack piano because the most common way people make pianos sound like that is by stabbing thumb tacks onto the wooden hammers of the piano. The hammers are what smack the strings inside the piano and make sound, so when a thumbtack is stuck on the end of the hammer, its metal smacking the strings which makes it super percussive and bright sounding! i love tack pianos, i really want my own grand piano so i can turn it into a tack piano
@@CalebTheTwig wow i had no idea it was something as simple as thumb tacks! me and my piano playing friends have been obsessing over these 'old' sounding pianos ever since my original comment and to finally know what they are is so cool. now i also really want to get one, i wish they were more common. thanks for the info!
The camera wiggling is so cute haha, you seem so excited doing a little dancey dance (but honestly it would be a crime if you wouldn't move to those funky tunes lol)

will wood Edit: just wanted to say it's absolutely insane that people are still chipping in on this comment TWO YEARS after me commenting this. the ww fandom is truly insane.
YES OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR A RECORDING OF THIS!!!! I was at the Nov 28 and I've been kicking myself since then for not recording this transition! Thank you SO SO much for uploading this!!
@@cainfox1855 I'm so happy you got the intro of 2econd 2ight 2eer too, the studio version of it isn't my favorite but I actually LOVED the piano version he played live
I know it would have been a several hour train ride on short notice and my parents would have killed me for running away to NYC to see a musician again, but why didn’t I find a way to go to this show? Now I have to regret how I could have seen this live! (Disclaimer: I am and was a legal adult so I do not recommend running away to see a concert to anyone who still has to listen to their parents even though it was the best decision I ever made)
@@LizordSword those two are dead in the dirt, unlike 222, which im guessing was played less (more similarly to suburbia overture and outliars), likely since theyre all originally from seda
hey there since I was at the show...and sitting literally right next to you....I was wondering...you got a recording of Skeleton Appreciation Day??? #pleasesayyes
