Going to a new church for the first time might sound intimidating, but missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make it easy. Here’s what to expect when you request a visit from them:
• A pair of missionaries in your area will call or text to set up a visit at a time and place that works for you.
• During the visit, they’ll get to know you, pray with you, and teach you some about our beliefs.
• They’ll let you know what to expect at church and answer your questions.
• On Sunday, they’ll be there to greet you at church, sit with you, show you around the building, and introduce you to members of the congregation.
• If you decide our church is not for you, that’s alright-they’ll be on their way. But if you had a good experience, they would love to continuing teaching you how you can experience the peace and joy that comes from following Jesus Christ.
