There’s a coworker I have known for about a year who I admittedly have some strong feelings for, but at the moment, I don’t feel as drawn to pursuing them as a romantic partner. Part of it I think is feeling like there’s no way they could be interested (not saying this in a self-deprecating way), but more importantly, I enjoy their presence so much that thinking about pursuing them is very secondary.
